Dr. Anshu Chandra
Introduction
Dr. Anshu Chandra graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2008. In addition to her optometry degree, she completed a residency at SUNY College of Optometry and specialized in ocular disease.
Video-Assisted Doctor Panel
Introduction
Video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric technician will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then a remote doctor will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam
Dr. Mckenzie Symons
Introduction
Dr. Mckenzie Symons is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2020. Dr. Symons uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam —prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I’m very grateful to have a Warby Store in the Capital Region where I have a choice of many new and very stylish frames. Where the staff is very helpful, and very friendly!!!..... Every time I go for new glasses (in other optical) I never come out satisfied as I need wider glasses and the legs never go around my ears as they are supposed to be, not to mention they always look smaller for my face. The lady that helped me at Warby was very Knowledgeable, and professional, she understood my issue and brought me many great choices, but must importantly all fit me so great that I had an issue in which to pick. 😊 Honestly, any other optical store that I have been to in the past I never had so many choices as I have in Warby Parker and that they fit so well!... I had an excellent experience!!.. and I want to thank the staff as everyone there welcomed me with a smile.

NO BIFOCALS. Was extremely disappointed that they only offer progressive lenses but not any type of bifocal. With my prescription, peripheral vision is unacceptably out of focus with progressive lenses - tried them once before and they were a no-go.

Warby Parker at Stuyvesant Plaza has excellent service, staffing, and selection. The store is attractive, clean, and well-stocked with a wide range of excellent frames. Everyone is helpful, professional, and attentive. I've been to many eye-vision stores over a period of 30 years and I think Warby Parker was truly the best overall experience I've had. I am very satisfied with all aspects of my recent visit and will definitely go there in the future for all of my glasses and eye exams.

Warby Parker in Stuyvesant Plaza offers a comfortable shopping experience with a large selection of glasses and sunglasses and a knowledgeable staff. I was particularly impressed with the manager (Alison) who has helped me before and again today (please give her a day off, she seems to always be working!) She said she loves her job and it shows. She knows the inventory and made the process comfortable and easy. There is never any pressure to purchase and all of my questions and concerns were answered. I genuinely love this store and its philosophy. Prices seem very fair and I have always been happy with my purchase.

The eye exam with the technician and the video visit and vision exam with the doctor online was excellent! One of the best and most comprehensive exams I've had. This doctor was the one that was best able to precisely determine what prescription I needed to correct my vision!

Ok, so let me see if I understand.
1. You shipped me the wrong frames.
2. You temporarily lost the replacement order and I had to call to inform you so you’d send me the item I actually ordered.
3. You shipped me the new glasses but not the return shipping label so I now have to go to the trouble of accessing a printer to print the return label.
4. I offered to buy the glasses, even though they were your error and you want me to ship them back to you so that you can ship them back to me.
5. You named this process the "Make your Day" savings.
Your QA department has got quite the sense of humor.
