Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
The well-known portion of an eye exam where you read from a chart of progressively shrinking letters until they're too small to see
The part of the exam that determines your prescription for corrective lenses (if you need them)
A screening for issues like glaucoma and cataracts, and for signs of other health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and more
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I always make the journey from south Brooklyn to Williamsburg to go this Warby Parker as I have always found them to have the best staff.
Today I was helped by Reese who was Stellar, she was kind, thoughtful, patient and thorough. Provided me options and took the time to explain to me in detail all the different options of service and the prices associated with each options.
In contrast the young man who greeted us at the door was obnoxious from the get, loud, pushy, aggressive, “in your face” kind of sales tactic. Definitely not from NY, had a passive aggressive mentality and generally just not the type of person I need to help me, either choose a pair of glasses through a selection of hundreds Nor the type of person you want to hand hundreds of dollars over to. i almost walked out of the place with only my prescription when he was assigned to help me at the end, fortunately for us both, Reese stepped in and saved the day, made me feel seen, took her time, walked out of there with an order for 2 more pairs of Warby Parker glasses and could not be happier.

The doctor I saw for my eye exam was efficient and clear about the options I should explore based off the testing. She worked within the permitters of my health insurance and never made me feel pressure. I will return and highly recommend WP's services if available to others in their cities.

The Williamsburg location by far hands down the best location I've ever experienced🙌🏾 Shout out to Jake who assisted me today, was very patient and pleasant; loved that he commented on my frames selection which convinced me even further to purchase!! Let me not forget the optician - shout out to Ayana who adjusted some frames I had; once she adjusted, it was the perfect fit, I was so pleased. LOVE this Warby Parker!!! My boyfriend and I came on a Saturday and the staff was so helpful and welcoming.
