Dr. Simran Kaur Gill
Introduction
Dr. Simran Kaur Gill is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University (PCO) in 2024. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Kaur uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

My boyfriend recommended WP to me, and I decided to give it a try. Although the wait was a bit long, the in-store experience itself was great. I completed an exam for both contacts and glasses, and the representative explained that the glasses could take up to 14 days to arrive. I let her know that I currently have no way to see without corrective lenses and that the three days’ worth of contacts they initially provided wouldn’t be enough. She was able to give me a few additional samples to last about five days, noting that it was all she could offer.
I left the store excited about my new glasses and decided to make it work with the limited contacts, hoping the glasses would arrive sooner than expected. Because I had no other option, I ended up wearing the daily contacts for two days at a time (which I know isn’t ideal) just so I could see.
My glasses were scheduled to arrive on 12/6. When they didn’t, I contacted the store to explain that they had not arrived as promised and that I had run out of contacts. I also shared that I was unable to see without them. The representative told me there was nothing she could do and that they could not provide any additional samples. She offered a discount, which I appreciated, but explained that it unfortunately didn’t solve my immediate problem of being unable to see. Despite explaining the urgency and the fact that I had been stretching daily contacts for multiple days, I was told again that no additional samples could be provided.
I am extremely disappointed that what had the potential to be a great first experience with WP turned sour so quickly. Given that they are eye-care professionals, I expected more understanding, compassion, and attention to eye health. I hope this experience is isolated to this particular store and does not reflect WP as a whole.

My shopping experience at the Roosevelt Field Warby Parker was pretty amazing. The staff was a pleasure to work with and the selection of glasses plentiful. I also like that I can see the glasses I chose on the app, in person before placing a final order. Parking is always amazing and I would encourage anyone to visit for stylish frames at a very reasonable price.

I wanted to replace my existing frames, that got damaged, but keep the lenses. The staff found the frames and popped the lenses in quick as anything. Very nice and friendly! And I lobe this new version of my all time favorite frames (Lorena) that people half my age stop me and compliment me on!

The staff here is extremely patient and knowledgeable. I’ve never worn prescription glasses before and had a good experience picking out a pair. Many style and color options. The woman who helped me was great! She’s only there on weekends and is a teacher full time. She was so knowledgeable and helped me find my perfect pair of glasses. They also sell sunglasses! And you can put prescription in them or pop the lenses out to place standard prescription lenses in!

This was a great day. Mel assisted me with my prescription concerns as well as helping me pick out glasses. She was so good at what she does, I purchased 4 pairs.
