This location offers comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contacts. If you've never worn contacts before, we offer complimentary training (with any order) on how to insert, remove, and care for your contacts.
You don't need anything but your eyeballs to peruse and try on our frames. If you're planning to purchase prescription frames or contacts, it's helpful to have a digital or physical copy of your current prescription. If you'd like to pay with an FSA or HSA card, remember to bring that along, too.No prescription handy? Not a problem! You can come in just to browse, shop for non-prescription sunglasses and accessories, or can book an eye exam at most locations.
We're in-network with several major insurance carriers, and we also make it easy to use out-of-network benefits. (Coverage may vary by location or plan.) Get all the details here.

Yep, at all of our New York locations! Come in for a 15-minute DMV Vision Test with one of our licensed opticians, no appointment needed. The test is $25. (If you don't pass, no worries—we can schedule a comprehensive eye exam for you.)

Beware! I went to an ophthalmologist to have my eyes checked as I have had cataract surgery and want to be sure all is well. I took my prescription to Warby Parker with three days left before my prescription runs out. I bought a pair of sunglasses and regular glasses. The regular glasses came as ordered. When I opened the sunglasses they were a different frame and lenses color so I went to the store to let them know and give them the wrong pair of glasses I was sent. They were very nice and said I would get an email with a new order. I received the new order email and then an email that said my prescription was out of date. I called the store and was told even though it was their fault I need to get another eye exam!! My insurance would not cover another exam and even if they did I would have to pay another $25 copay. I told them I wanted a refund on the first pair of sunglasses I ordered. They said I hadn’t been charged yet. I had to explain over and over again I paid for both pairs of glasses originally. It was a frustrating conversation. I know there must be a way for the company to override their mistake but apparently they would rather lose a customer.

My experience today was better than expected! I was greeted in a friendly manner yet was given time and space to look around before Dan asked if he could help. My needs were a little complicated. Dan unraveled them so I knew my needs clearly. He was patient and listened well while I made my choices giving me the best results both fashion wise and for my eye health. I purchased after looking for many months elsewhere. I recommend the Walt Whitman Shops store.

This is by far the best company! I had fallen and unfortunately my glasses were ruined beyond repair. I visited the store and the sales personnel were compassionate and without any questions, replaced my glasses without charge. It is so nice to have been treated respectfully.

Amazing experience. Everyone at the store was friendly and knowledgeable. The optometrist was very nice. I had an appointment and she saw me on time. The equipment is up to date. I felt very well cared for. After my exam, I picked out glasses and the staff was wonderful. I highly recommend this store.

I went to warby Parker today as target didn’t leave me a voicemail that the eye doctor called out sick. Warby Parker was immediately able to see me. I picked out frames, got contacts, and was sent the prescription- I didn’t have to beg for it. All in al, a great experience.

I had a pair of Warby Parker sunglasses from 2016 that I lost. I immediately called the store, heartbroken, to see if I could reorder the frames. Unfortunately, the particular style was discontinued. I explained my distress to Erica and she proceeded to look through all the available frames to find similar shape, color, width, etc. She was looking down to the mm. We must have been on the phone for 45 minutes. I did not expect someone to be so helpful, patient, and kind. Erica found a pair that was similar and they ended up being absolutely perfect. I would not have found this style if not for Erica. Shout out to her for helping me find my new sunglasses.

I have been nothing but happy with the quality and service from the staff at this store. I wear a progressive lens and am very happy with the quality in the fuller field of vision lenses. I bought everyday glasses, sunglasses and desk glasses. Daniel and Stuart helped me tweak the script I had from my eye doc so that I was 100% happy and then they happily adjusted the frames after they were delivered. I’m very very happy and recommend this store and staff to anyone.

The service is very inconsistent at this location. I’ve never been to a Warby Parker with poor service until I visited this location. There is one gentleman who is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone else needs customer service training.

I had a great experience in your store!! When I received the two glasses that I ordered online and they were both in the wrong prescriptions, I thought that I would have gotten some of resistance to the exchange. But I did not. I was able to exchange both for the correct prescriptions and received the glasses in the mail about 5-7 days later. I wish I could remember the young Filipino customer service employee and the optometrist’s names because they were both very friendly and helpful!! Because of this experience, I would purchase glasses from Warby Parker again!!
