Dr. Tracey Rosenlicht is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 2024. Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Don’t buy prescription glasses at malls. Cohens is way worse with the price gouging, but Warby Parker sells poorly made disposable quality glasses. They trended for a bit because of good marketing. Not good products.
And yes they are disposable. They won’t replace broken hinges or transfer lenses to new frames. That by definition is DISPOSABLE.

I got my first pair of glasses from here a few years ago and when I needed to get an eye exam decided to see if they provided this I was able to change my appointment several times due to scheduling and they work with me with no issues was able to pick two beautiful pairs of glasses and I should get them within a few days from my exam. I already got the tracking email. Normally what I'm getting for two glasses, eye exam and contact lens exam I would maybe get one pair of glasses from my local eye provider

I'm very disappointed with my experiences at Warby Parker. I needed new glasses, as my old Warby Parker glasses -- that I liked very much -- expired as my eyes degraded. So I scheduled an appointment. My eyes were examined by someone I'd describe as jittery and scattered. She kept pushing a cornea map for $39.00. Anyway, she wrote a prescription, and I awaited my glasses. When they arrived, they were unwearable. I couldn't see anything. I brought them in, and they re-examined my eyes. I had a new optician who asked questions and performed tests the first one failed to do, including a test for close reading. Given that my lenses are progressives and that I read a lot, that seems important. Anyway, she compared her script with the previous one and concluded the first person entered the script numbers incorrectly. So, my second pair of of glasses arrived and they were crooked. I needed to hike them up on a thicker part of my head (not my ears) to hold them straight. I returned to Warby Parker to get them adjusted. The person who offered to help me did not have a professional self-presentation. He also refused to listen to me, as he removed the glasses from my head and began bending them all about. He put them back on my head and asked me how they looked. Well, they didn't sit level on my ears. I replied, "They look all marked up by your finger prints." He gave me a look and cleaned them off. I told him I'd try them out around the mall and come back. Instead, I walked over to Lenscrafters where an optician asked me what the problem was, read the measurements, asked if I had progressives, went in the back for ten minutes and returned with my glasses in a condition that settled properly on my ears. My experiences with Warby Parker this time around has me wondering which private equity firm is trashing it. It is unlikely that I will return.

I decided it was time for new glasses and I also needed an eye exam. I was greated immediately when I walked in and after trying a few frames, the associate said that I should look at frames for a small face. I was brought to another section, and within 5 minutes found 2 pairs of glasses that I loved. I asked if there were any open appointments for an eye exam, and luckily there was. I was checked in, examined and the entire process, from walking into the store to the checkout was just about an hour. Best experience I've had buying glasses and having an eye exam. Thank you to all who helped me today!

It was similar walking into most glasses placea but more affordable and they even found my husbands company he had, I didn't know was available, and submitted for reimbursement. A parent from my kids private school recommended them, so I figured why now. Very affordable

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the delay in my son’s eyeglasses order.
The store delayed the order because of insurance approval issues, but no one informed me about this delay or contacted me to explain the situation. As a result, my son has been waiting unnecessarily for his glasses, which has affected his daily activities and school needs.
I understand that insurance approvals can sometimes take time, but customers should be informed promptly about any delays or problems. Better communication would have allowed me to follow up sooner or explore other options.

This was my second experience in this location and I was pleased with my first. The staff was even more helpful and amazing this time! I was encouraged to take my time making my decision, and while there were numerous options available for the lenses, at no time did I feel pressured to chose a higher opinion or spend more money. Everything was clearly explained and no question was left unanswered.

Really impressed. Walking into a crowded store, wasn’t swamped with over selling floor team. Was acknowledged quickly and offered appointment and insurance checked within 5 minutes of walking in and browsing. Very very impressive.
Dr and Tech delivered perfect blend of professional(but conversational) and quick (but not rushed) and walked through all the details and use of machines well.
Back on the floor I had the picked out frames ready for fitting .. and clean and concise walk though of covered (and out of network!) costs. Clocked waiting for 3:30 appt in 30 minutes!

I am a Warby Parker fan, but this particular location has always been my favorite - everyone there is great, attentive, polite, efficient, and authentic. Jay helped me on my most recent visit, but everyone has been great, and I've gotten an exam here also, after my opthalmologist rushed and gave me an incorrect script. So now I'll only get my eyes checked here, the optometrists are thorough and know what they are doing.
