Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I am extremely grateful to have had Laurie to assist me with my contact lenses today. While I failed miserably to take them out, due to my own personal phobias, Laurie was a breath of fresh air. She was possibly the most patient and helpful person I have come in contact with in the service industry in years. I had a very helpful sales person assist me to find glasses and prescription sunglasses which took some time. The doctor giving my eye exam was informed and helpful. No wait time and it was very easy overall. I got my contacts from this store last year and it was also a good experience.

Had a great experience with Leslie. She was knowledgeable, kind, understood my taste and style of frame, made helpful suggestions and gave me her honest views on how the frame fit my face and eyes. She was not pushy or made me feel rushed. She was able to check my insurance coverage right away. I couldn’t be happier with my visit today :)

I was referred to Parker WARBY by my ophthalmologist to have new prescription glasses made at more reasonable costs. The selection of frames was extensive. The customer care provided was excellent and the costs were very reasonable. I have not received my glasses yet but I am hopeful the final product will match the service I received today. There is a 30 day money back policy.

Outstanding experience at Warby Parker in Walt Whitman. The front staff especially Victoria and Stuart were professional, helpful and courteous. The glasses are a great product and excellent value. The team was very patient and assisted me with 'just the right' frames for me. Dr Carpio did a thorough eye exam while being helpful and respectful. This is the best one stop shop for an eye exam and prescription glasses.

I am a Warby Parker fan, but this particular location has always been my favorite - everyone there is great, attentive, polite, efficient, and authentic. Jay helped me on my most recent visit, but everyone has been great, and I've gotten an exam here also, after my opthalmologist rushed and gave me an incorrect script. So now I'll only get my eyes checked here, the optometrists are thorough and know what they are doing.

For those that have puppies, you might experience the dog ate my glasses. In my case he did not scratch the lenses but the frames were destroyed and I was out of warranty. My lenses alone cost about $400, so I was more than happy to learn I could just purchase the same frame for $99 and have the lens put into the new frame. The staff was terrific and I was in-and-out of the store in 20 minutes and saved over $400 that I was prepared to spend. That is called putting the customer first. Now I will have to work on training the puppy.
