We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

This location is amazing. It is bright and lively, the decor is unique and one of a kind and so are the multitude of frames that grace the walls. The associates in the store were very kind and welcoming. Especially Brianna who helped me out the entire time I was in the store after my eye exam. Brianna is very attentive to detail, she is experienced in what she does, she was very patient with me and within no time she was able to grasp the style that I was looking for in eyeglasses and ultimately helped me pick out some new frames. We connected as if we were family and I am so thankful for her and the team at this location.

This location is a solid alternative to heading into Manhattan. The team is attentive, helping not only fit you with the frame that fits your face, but also take the time to check and double check that the Rx will fit properly with the frame you choose. I broke my glasses. The sign that I needed go get my new glasses. But I now I was desperate. I went to Warby Parker. In the past, I cracked the frame. They put my old lenses in another frame. !!BEWARE!!: I visited this location as a first time customer and was scammed $800+. I went in for an eye contact exam to which I was told that if I purchased a year supply of eye contacts I would be given a $350 discount with a $50 discount if I submit some type of form back with my receipt back to Acuvue. I knew I had a bad feeling about it when I was asking several questions and the person who took care of me wasn’t really clear about the process and told me that I can just ship the contacts back for a refund if I found it to be too many, which I am scared now to do or wonder if I even will get a refund the way I got tricked out of a large sum of money. After trying to submit the form for the $350 back I came to find out that the link to acuvue doesn’t work on several browsers and have tried to get in contact with customer service so many times. I looked up what was going on with my situation online only to find out many forums on how this method is a scam by many eyewear stores and suppliers. I also haven’t received a shipping link or call back for the glasss I brought from then after being promised that it will be delivered in 10 days, it’s been more than 10 days already. You guys should be so ashamed of yourself and I would never be a customer of yours again!!

I ordered progressive transition glasses on August 6, 2025. Even though I already had a prescription, Warby Parker recommended I take their eye exam to place the order, so I did and paid for it. I was told the glasses would be ready in 10 business days. Instead, 32 days later, I had received no updates, and the website only showed my order as "in process."
I finally went to the store to cancel, and while the staff was polite and professional, I was told that the eye exam cost would not be refunded—even though the exam was only done for these glasses that never arrived.
The in-store team is excellent, professional, and friendly; no complaints at all, but Warby Parker’s production services failed to deliver on their promised timeline. As a paying customer, I was left with no glasses, wasted time, and an unnecessary exam fee. I chose Warby Parker for positive reviews, but my experience was unprofessional and disappointing. I will not recommend them to anyone.
