Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Insurance, FSA, and HSA

Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had an idea of what frames I wanted for hoped to try them on in person. Sales associate Anna, approached from the back of the store to greet me and she stuck around nearby if I needed anything. The frames I wanted were a little too big for my face, but the Watts were me through and through. Anna told me about some promos to save some money, one of which I took her up on, $50 off frames with the purchase of 12month contacts. I was in and out in half an hour tops. I had an excellent experience here. Dr. Makkawi was exceptional, she was very kind, patient, and I finally have the right prescription. She was able to figure out why my previous prescription was uncomfortable and made the necessary adjustments. The staff were very helpful when picking out my frames! When I got my initial pair, it was uncomfortable. They adjusted as many times as I needed, then thankfully Beatrice helped me figure out my my frame was uncomfortable and she recommended solutions and gave me advice on what to look out for if I decided to exchange them. I exchanged them very smoothly, and she helped me pick out a frame to make sure I'm avoiding the problem I was facing with the initial frame I bought. I definitely recommend this place. There are so many gorgeous frames to pick, the costumer service is also exceptional!

This location has quite an extensive supply of farms to choose from. But what made this experience exceptional for me was first of all, Sam... he was outstanding in his customer service, time he took and how explained everything to me was deeply appreciated. Then his colleague Delynn (sorry, for the spelling... like the car but not the car Delorian) - she too was informative and walked through various fitting options with me for the frames I was interested in. I really appreciated both reps and the size of the inventory on hand. I highly recommend this location and both Sam and Delynn.

I loved that I was able to browse on my own without any pressure. And then when I needed assistance, the associates were readily available. I agreed on a price for an exam, glasses, and two boxes of contacts after discussing insurance with the sales person.
I paid the price quoted to me by WP's employee.
He appeared confused when ringing me up, and I even asked him if he was sure my insurance covered both contacts and frames. He assured me it did.
Now, days later, they are telling me they've made a mistake, they've shipped the box of contacts for one eye, but if I want the frames and the second box of contacts, I need to pay them over $100 more. They weren't forthcoming with this-- they tried to gloss it over until I send several emails back and forth digging into what happened.
Even if I just want to get the second box of contacts for the other eye, they want more money. Obviously, I am stuck with contacts since they've already shipped on box of contacts for one eye.
I was told the total price I paid would cover two boxes of contacts, an exam, and frames. Four days later, WP is telling me the price I paid actually only covered the exam and one box of contacts. I understand mistakes happen, but it was their mistake. They haven't even attempted to make it right-- only asked me for more money. Their employee clearly wasn't trained well, and I feel very misled. I would be fine just cancelling the frames and receiving the second box of contacts, but I refuse to pay them more money for THEIR mistake.
If I was more cynical, I would suspect all of this was common practice to trick their customers into bigger orders-- telling them they should order contacts and glasses since their insurance covers it anyway, then coming back and telling them they'll need to pay more to fulfil the order if they want to see out of both eyes.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE where they employ someone who specializes in insurance claims instead of some kid using an iPad. You get what you pay for...Warby Parker is cheap for a reason.

The experience was great, overall. The store was clean, well organized and the staff were all super friendly and greeted me immediately. The eye visit was great! Everyone made me feel very comfortable. The doctor was incredibly professional, and I appreciated how thorough they were with detailing each step of the eye exam.

It's always a pleasure shopping at this location! The fit of my glasses were giving me a hard time but Rowena fixed that with a very detailed adjustment. In the midst of getting my frames fixed, she also recommended a few other pairs that could feel more comfortable. I felt heard and taken care of! Will be asking to work with her next time I stop in :)
