Dr. Jessie Yu is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from SUNY College of Optometry in 2025. Dr. Yu uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam —prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.
Dr. Melanie Fleyshmakher
Introduction
Dr. Melanie Fleyshmakher graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2024. In addition to her optometry degree, she completed a residency at Atlantic Eye Physicians and specialized in ocular disease.
Dr. Michelle Zou
Introduction
Dr. Michelle Zou is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) in 2025. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Zou uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to create a supportive, eye care environment—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Highly recommend this store location. Large selection without feeling overwhelmed. The three female team was engaging, very friendly and helped me pick out the perfect glasses. The whole process was quick and pleasant. Best part, they helped process my insurance reimbursement right there on the spot so I don’t have to do it when I got home. Satisfied customer!

Do not hesitate! I switched from Sol Moscot to Warby Parker years ago when Warby was still in its early years and wow has the company grown! Their experts and optometrists use high end technology and equipment to efficiently diagnose your vision health and my goodness- they have grown their selection of frames and lens options so much that my mother and I spent 2.5 hours there. The exam was easy, both Nehal and Dr. Nohrenberg were respectful and answered all my questions thoroughly and I didn’t have to walk out with yellow stained eyes #winning! Then we worked with Nia and Migdalia who are both outstanding professionals to carefully select the best frames for both me and my mother’s needs. They were extra patient with us and overall we had a great experience at this office. It’s on the 6th floor of their NYC headquarters away from retail crowds in a gorgeous space - highly recommend!

Did not have a good experience with the online service overall, but Marvin didn’t hesitate to make it right for me! He’s the type of associates that shouldn’t be overlooked! He went above and beyond to fix a problem he didn’t even create. The online service needs to learn a thing or two from him. If I’m in New York again, will definitely come by. Definitely shop here!!

While I like the product and business model, the customer service is about as bad as it gets. My orders were cancelled with no notice - I had to call when I didn't see the charge on my credit card days later only to be told the order was "aborted." The rep I spoke with didn't know why and couldn't reprocess the order. Six days later I am still going back and forth over email trying to get the order placed as they collect info one email at a time (one email they asked to confirm the order details, one email they asked to confirm CC information, most recent email they asked to verify address - each taking 24 hours or more to respond). Even with the promise of complimentary expedited shipping, I am still 10+ days away from getting my order (originally placed a week ago online) and that's IF they place it today. Almost certainly my last Warby Parker experience which is disappointing as I like the product offering.

I've been to numerous WP locations in the US, including Boston and NYC, since I first visited before Covid-19. I come back every year for my eye exams and glasses shopping because I have a consistently good experience.
The location offers comprehensive eye exams from A-Z using modern equipment. My eye pressure was measured without using the air puff anymore. Throughout the procedure, the technician remained calm and patient. Throughout the process, he explained everything to me.
With WP, I am able to conduct eye exams and shop easily. After spending a good deal of time in the showroom, I finally settled on my preferred pair of glasses.
In the future, I hope they will work with more insurance providers so I won't feel bad about returning since the cost could be a lot for out of network.

This was by far the best eyeglass shopping experience I ever had (30+ years with glasses and 20+ shopping online providers). The eye doctor gave me excellent insight into what was happening with my prescription and the the team on the floor was outstanding. We were right up to their closing hour and they were beyond helpful getting my order in and submitted to my insurance. Will return to this location no doubt about it.

I was overwhelmed with the selection of glasses they had, but they broke down the process and helped me feel more at ease. With their help, I picked out the perfect pair of glasses and got situated very quickly. Because of them, Warby Parker will definitely see me in the future as my sole glasses supplier.
