Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I stupidly forgot to bring my contacts on a trip, and needed a week supply. After trying a couple local optometrists with no luck, and overpriced estimates, I tried Warby. They mentioned that I needed to buy a 3 month supply, which seemed like the norm, but the price they quoted was less by half. In the end, when I was ready to buy some supply, the optometrist gave me a week's trial lenses for free, with a smile. Super kind. I was thinking of buying glasses from Warby, now even more of a reason to!

I've been wearing Warby Parker glasses for over 10 years and loving to see how the business has grown with great services. Today, I came in for my first annual eye exam here and it was one of the best experiences. The doctor was caring, helpful and thorough. She took the time to listen to my concerns, addressed my questions with technical knowledge and insight, and made sure the prescription was right and comfortable for me. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Very happy I made my visit today and highly recommend!

I had a great experience! I was greeted at the door by Zach who immediately picked the 2 best frames for my face in the entire store. He humored me with looking at other frames, but his picks were easily the best. I felt super confident about my choice. He even gave me the tip to come back in person with my Rx as most Rx miss a measurement for progressives. And he was right! Easy second trip and good experience with the optometrist too. So impressive!! I can't wait to get my new glasses!

Came in for an eye exam (glasses & contacts). Scheduling online was easy and efficient. Came in and did not have to wait at all. Dr. Ortiz was very kind, informative, and helpful. She answered all of my questions and gave me a referal to a specialist for an issue she found during my exam. Sales team, JD, was also very kind and helpful with picking out new frames. I would recommend coming here.

I had Miriam's help with picking frames! She is the kindest, most genuine person.
I also had the most wonderful, and stress free time working with Gracie before my eye exam.
Dr Cortiana did the most wonderful job helping me understand my prescription. After almost 20 years of wearing glasses, I have never truly understand as much as I have after an exam with Dr Cortiana.

I have had not one complaint about this brand. I heard the podcast on how it was created. I think it was in real time, they went through though entire naming process for the brand. Curious I had to see if the potential meant the reality. And it did. I had been paying for brand names here and there and even with my union benefits you are still paying a decent amount but at Warby its a whole different ballgame. I had moments where the job I had was non union with crappy benefits and I was still able to upgrade for less than name brand bought with union benefits. Now that I am back in a union position its a win-win, even if the insurer was out of network. My glasses, aviators with transitions-with a prescription (I'll disclose my eyes havent changed much since junior high and I'm 50) was $300! You're not getting that anywhere I used to shop.

Mariel was super helpful in helping me select multiple pairs! I was struggling with what my accent my face best but she was super patient and offering me feedback on frames I was looking at while also giving suggestions based on pairs I had purchased in the past so could stay close but still new and refreshed!
