Dr. Paven Korotana
Introduction
Dr. Paven Korotana graduated from the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2019. In addition to her optometry degree, she completed a residency at Woolfson Eye Institute and specialized in ocular disease and refractive surgery. Dr. Korotana is proud to be a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
Dr. Priyanka Patel
Introduction
Dr. Priyanka Patel is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2024. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Patel uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.
Dr. Jenny Chen
Introduction
Dr. Jenny Chen graduated from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 2024. She is proud to be a member of the American Optometric Association. As a New York native (fun fact: she graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School), she is grateful to be practicing close to her hometown community. In her downtime, Dr. Chen enjoys traveling and eating her way around the city.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

A screening for issues like glaucoma and cataracts, and for signs of other health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and more
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. The third time? What was I thinking buying another pair of these terrible glasses. Probably because of their branding and price point. But why is it they cannot make a pair of glasses that fit straight, or that don’t stretch out after wearing them twice. Every time I wear my Warby Parker I’m disappointed in myself.

I made my way to the Union Square location with a bit of frustration. I had visited 4 other locations on the east side and in midtown and none were able to fulfill my request. When I walked into the location, I met Madeline, giving me a great eye contact and a warm smile. She gave me hope. She listened to my dilemma and reassured me she would do her best to help me. She made her way to the back of the store, appearing a few minutes later and spoke with her colleague (probably a supervisor?) After a few minutes she approached me and surprised me that my request was granted! I was so greatful! With a tear in my eye I expressed my gratitude. Thankyou Madeline (and her wonderful supervisor). I will spread the word about my experience and look forward to my future with Warby Parker!

I loved the frame selection before visiting, but since visiting I love the customer service the best!! Frames are also great. But I managed to get an eye exam and my lenses and frames ordered all in a matter of hours - the whole process was a breeze, the people who work there are awesome, 10/10 would recommend!
