We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.

Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

WARBY PARKER WELCOME TO GOLDEN HORSESHOE!!!! , We are thrilled to have you as our new neighbors, and we all want to thank you for making our small town your new home. I'll try to keep this brief because I tend to babble a lot, but I had the best day at the new store recently and got to meet so many kind and informed people. I was able to work closely with a charming gentleman named Salvatore who, in my opinion, knew his stuff. In addition to being helpful throughout the entire interaction, I was able to meet Jessica, the store leader and head boss in charge. I must admit that I adore Jessica and the amazing vibe she admits. With both of them helping me, I felt like I received the VIP treatment the Warby Parker way and that my entire shopping experience was tailored to my needs. In order to promptly give credit where credit is due, I also received style advice from Reyna, another on-duty stylist, during my interactions with Salvatore and Jessica. She assisted me along with everyone else in narrowing down frames and styles and made me feel incredibly unique and confident throughout the entire process. I am so grateful to you all for your help and confidence boost! Ultimately, I'll be coming back and doing business here. Thanks Guys!

I had a great time today at Warby Parker, which is finally located in the Golden Horseshoe shopping center (our prayers are answered). They not only save us customers money on parking, unlike The Westchester, Ridge Hill, and Greenwich, but they also spare us the hassle of purchasing new glasses. I had the pleasure of working closely with and receiving assistance from the on-duty supervisor, Salvatore, or Sal as he prefers, today, and I was helped by a very knowledgeable team. He was not only able to assist me in finding my new favorite frames, but he also had extensive knowledge about Warby Parker, my prescription, and frames. I also wanted to give a big shout-out to the two opticians and yes you heard me say TWO opticians that this Warby location has to offer, Cathy and Maria (I hope I spelled both names correctly). They were able to get my correct management for my eyes and glasses so that when they arrived at my house, they were ready for me to grab and go without any problems. and these beautiful ladies don't hesitate to provide insightful details and justifications on their tests and the reasons behind them. I could go on and on about this place, but I'll stop now. Sal, Cathy, and Maria are all excellent and extremely valuable members of this team, and I hope that is not overlooked. I would personally make sure to tell everyone I know about this particular store. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would, but as five is the highest level of excellence, it certainly merits every star. Once again, thank you, and I will most certainly return sooner rather than later.

This is a new location and while Sal explained that the staff was being trained her did a fine, professional job of taking care of me. I have been wearing glasses since age 8 ads I’m over 70 more so I’ve had glasses fitted many times. The prices are very fair and the staff very knowledgeable
