Dr. Jassimine Davis is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2006. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Davis uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

My wife and I were the final two appointments scheduled at your Ridge Hill location in Yonkers, NY on the day of our visit. Due to parking constraints, my wife dropped me off at the entrance while she went to find parking. As a result, we entered the office separately, though we were clearly there together.
I proceeded through the initial testing and physician consultation without issue. Afterward, I began selecting eyeglasses and ultimately chose two pairs. During this time, my wife was seated in the waiting area. I immediately sensed that something was wrong, as she appeared uncomfortable and disengaged.
Once I completed my selection, I expected my wife—who was the primary reason for our visit—to begin choosing her eyewear. Instead, she informed me that she wished to leave and would not be purchasing glasses. She later explained why.
According to my wife, when she was brought in for her examination, a member of your staff made an inappropriate and unprofessional remark about me, not realizing that I was her husband. This comment was described as rude and unnecessary. Had I been aware of this behavior at the time, I would not have proceeded with any purchase.
While I initially attributed the staff’s cold and somewhat condescending demeanor to it being late in the day, this incident goes beyond poor customer service. It reflects a lack of professionalism and respect that is unacceptable in a healthcare setting.
I am bringing this matter to your attention because comments made about patients—especially in their absence—are deeply concerning. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed appropriately to prevent similar experiences for future patients.

If I could give more stars I would. I have never had an experience like this having an eye exam or buying glasses. Everyone was so helpful and so friendly and so compassionate. After a terrible day loosing my glasses and having a really hard time struggling to see, having people take care of me this way just turned the whole day around. Truly the staff is just incredible and goes above and beyond what the job calls for. They made sure I have everything I need to get by until my glasses arrive and I could not be more grateful.

Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, helpful and extremely friendly! My husband and I were there to get eye exams for the first time at Warby Parker. We were greeted by smiling faces and were seen quickly for our appointment. The staff was patient and informative. They answered all questions and made us feel so comfortable! I feel terrible that I don’t remember the names of the two ladies at the front desk but they were AMAZING! We laughed together and left very pleased with our exam and purchases. We would highly recommend giving them a visit!!!!
