Comprehensive exams starting at $110
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Thoughtful review, hear me out
The shopping experience was great. They have some of the cutest frames and the associates were helpful and not pushing me to make a quick choice.
I picked out a pair and brought a prescription from my own dr. It took me awhile to adjust to my new prescription, but after two weeks I definitively noticed that the upper lens was much blurrier than the mid/lower focal point.
So I went back and explained my issue. The optician in store explained that because I have a higher prescription (-4), the store should have taken a specific measurement when I made my original purchase, but they didn't. I'm not sure where the communication broke down or how that happened.
So now I have to go back to my old glasses (which is a much different prescription) for 10 days, while they redo the lens. Would have been nice to get a refund for the hassle (it really hurts my eyes/head).
I probably won't be buying Warby Parker again, but I know that many people have a positive experience. And its really great price out-of-pocket. Maybe it's not a good idea if you have a higher/unique prescription needs. Tip: go to Costco instead for cute, cheap, well made glasses

I broke my glasses in a car accident so it was important to get a pair soon. I was pleasantly surprised with the store, glasses, the knowledge and professionalism. Effy was a great representative and knows her stuff!

Irwin and Rhonda both offered terrific service and helped me make a decision I felt great about. I loved how Irwin immediately established communication with me when I came into the store, pointing me towards frames that would suit me. He gave me space to choose my own frames but graciously offered a few suggestions, too, and I ended up going with one of the frames he selected. He's got a terrific eye!

I've been looking for frames I like for over 9 months and I haven't found anything I like. Everything I found made me like I was getting old. I thought I was gonna have to settle but I went to Warby Parker with a friend to get her glasses tightened and was browsing, trying on a few pairs. I noticed that the glasses had labels, narrow, medium and wide so I asked the associate which one would fit my face better and I was blown away by how fast she found the perfect frames to fit me without looking aged. I'm bringing my daughter next time I go back

Effy is an incredible asset to the store. If you could clone Effy that would be the model of ideal interaction in a customer service setting. Words that come to mind; expertise, compassion, attentive, confidence, honesty, non pushy, and knowledgeable.
I have worked many retail type settings. Effy stands out. I did not get to interact with anyone else in the store and Effy made me feel like i was the only person there.

I worked with Earvin Keim at the Easton location. He was so pleasant to work with! He was incredibly helpful with my search for a pair of glasses for my narrow face. He was patient with me even when I became indecisive on several different pair. He took the time to show me many options even when he had to go in the back to get other frames.
