Dr. Brenda Cheung is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2025. Dr. Cheung uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had a really positive experience with the in-store appointment and customer service at Warby Parker — the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the process. Unfortunately, the glasses themselves have been a major disappointment. From the first day I picked them up, I noticed a wavy distortion in my vision that never went away.
A technician initially mentioned the anti-reflective coating might not have bonded correctly in the lab and suggested I give my eyes a couple of weeks to adjust. I did exactly that, but the distortion persisted and caused significant eye strain. I genuinely tried to make them work, but I cannot comfortably see out of these lenses.
When I contacted customer support, I was told I was past the return/exchange period, which was frustrating given that the issue appears to be a manufacturing or coating defect rather than a simple preference change. I invested a lot of money expecting clear, comfortable vision and instead ended up with glasses I can’t wear.
The service experience was great, but the product quality and lack of resolution after reporting a legitimate vision issue left me disappointed. I hope Warby Parker considers more flexibility when customers experience potential lens defects, because good customer service should extend beyond the initial sale.

I really didn’t want to leave less than a 5-star review because this doesn’t have anything to do with the helpful associates at the store on Lane Ave., but rather the Warby Parker suppliers. I just wanted to forewarn people looking to purchase glasses from them right now.
I placed my order a month ago & they told me my glasses would arrive in 14 days or less. One month later, and they haven’t even finished making them according to my order status (apparently due to lab issues?). I lost my old glasses and need new ones asap.
Reaching out to their customer support team hasn’t helped — they’ve been very kind but haven’t been able to push it along. They told me they’d expedite my order but the status has stayed the same.
If you decide to go with Warby for a new pair of specs (love their options), just know it could take a while before you get them!

The entry level price quickly doubles or more after any minor upgrades, which is pretty normal I suppose. What's not normal is my lenses are starting to have spider cracks around the edges after 7 months of use. I've scratched plenty of glasses before, but this is the first pair I've ever had with cracks.
When I reached out to Warby Parker they said they couldn't help me because I was outside of the 30 day return period. I see on their site that they have a 6 month scratch protection policy, but I guess that doesn't apply to cracks?
Anyway, I'm going to go back to buying glasses from Zenni Optial. Generally the frames don't fit as well because you can't try them on in person, but they are about a 1/3rd the price for higher quality material and upgrades.

First time in one of these establishments. It was much nicer than I expected frankly. I went in expecting these glasses to be a stop gap until my eyes adjust from surgery. It was easy to set an eye exam appointment on line and the doctor was very professional and transparent with me. The staff didn't try to upsell me on my glasses selection either.

I rarely leave reviews, but just had one of the best retail experiences ever at this store. Every retail store should have a Graham - kind, thorough, consultative and an advocate for the customer. He gave us honest, useful feedback and went out of his way to ensure we got the best price possible once we landed on the right options.
If I ever leave Ohio, I may still come back to this location for optical needs just to work with Graham and team. The service was that good.

I had the best experience picking out frames at this location. The staff was super friendly and helpful - they did not make me feel rushed at all. Lucas and Sophie were extremely patient with me as I tried on every frame in the store! I had my glasses for about a week and felt the prescription was off. I had previously done my eye exam with another company. Graham gently suggested I consider seeing their on site optician and we found out I had been given the wrong Rx. So thankful they each took the time to make sure I was happy and satisfied!
