Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I went today to try on a few pairs of glasses and I found so many beautiful options all the workers were so helpful explaining the steps for insurance reimbursement. I ended up purchasing Lydell I definitely recommend and I will be making more purchases in the future!

Great first eye exam for my daughter. It was easy and convenient to get scheduled. It was also wonderful that she could be fitted for contacts and glasses right after her exam—one stop shop. Effy helped us with the fitting and she was so helpful and patient throughout the process. Finally, it was incredibly affordable. We will definitely be back!

I went into the Warby Parker at Lane Avenue last night about four minutes before closing. I told them I knew they were about to close and was totally fine coming back another time, but they insisted, "no, come on in, we've got you!" That kindness set the tone for the whole visit.
Graham ended up helping me the most and was genuinely phenomenal—friendly, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel rushed even though it was closing time. He and another team member (sorry, I can't remember their name!) spent close to 40 minutes with me, giving opinions and recommendations on frames, walking me through upgrades like blue light filtering, and just making the whole process easy. The experience felt like a fabulous 1:1 consult!
I left with my first pair of prescription sunglasses plus a new pair of everyday glasses (buy one, get one 20% off, which was a nice bonus). They also took the time to check what my vision insurance would cover and walked me through how to submit it, which I appreciated since my plan isn't a common one.
As a longtime glasses wearer, I still can't get over how Warby Parker has changed the game in the glasses industry. I've bought only Warby Parker glasses for the last 6 years since discovering this company. And my experience last night was the best customer service I've had in a while.

I had the best experience here! Everyone had such amazing energy, and you could tell they genuinely loved what they do. No one left without a smile. They made the whole process so fun and personal, and they were just as excited as I was while helping me pick out my glasses. They took the time to help me try on different styles and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. I never felt rushed, and everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great service and a fun experience!

Stopped in between appointments to try on frames & what I was dreading turned out to be a lovely experience. Bran & Lucas were warm & welcoming, inviting me in then offering me space to browse. They were both knowledgeable & supportive, pulling other options once they saw what I was drawn to & offering their opinion when asked. Plenty to choose from without the overwhelm of having my eyes dilated or feeling like I needed to choose on the spot - also somehow half the cost of a similar pair from my eye doc’s selection! I did make a decision that day & the ordering process was just as painless. I was in on a Friday & my glasses are meant to arrive to my house today, the following Wednesday.
