Comprehensive exams starting at $120
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

The part of the exam that determines your prescription for corrective lenses (if you need them)
A screening for issues like glaucoma and cataracts, and for signs of other health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and more
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Went into the store today to have my new glasses adjusted after buying them online thru the app. The whole purchase process was so easy! The store is amazing too and all the staff are friendly and they were able to get my new glasses adjusted quickly and they even had the storage case for purchase in store that I was looking at on line. I am so happy I chose Warby Parker for my glasses this year! Definitely will use them again

I purchased stainless steel frames from Warby Parker less than a year ago, and they have already rusted under normal, everyday use. That’s completely unacceptable for a product marketed as durable and made from stainless steel.
When I brought this to the customer support attention, the only resolution offered was $20 off a future purchase. That does not address the core issue: glasses made from stainless steel should not corrode in under 12 months unless there is a materials or manufacturing defect.
According to materials engineering standards, stainless steel is specifically designed to resist rust and corrosion in normal consumer environments, which is why it’s commonly used in eyewear and medical devices. Rust developing this quickly indicates a quality failure, not normal wear and tear.
I expected better quality control and accountability from a brand that positions itself as premium. Offering a small discount instead of standing behind the product is disappointing. I won’t be purchasing frames here again.

Great and friendly staff, found a beautiful pair of frames. Checkout was easy, I arranged free home delivery of the frames, and left feeling great about my new glasses.
Turns out the frames weren't available until a month after I ordered them, and there was no communication from WP about it--only that my order was "delayed", with no indication of why or when it would be shipped to me.
Two and a half weeks after ordering my new glasses, I had to cancel the order and go elsewhere. A huge waste of time and a real disappointment. Won't be back to WP, even though the actual Nob Hill storefront was great.

I have had many eye exams over the years and without a doubt the ones that I get at Warby parker are the easiest, friendliest most thorough. They’re also very efficient. This was one of the easiest eyeglasses shopping experience ever. There were tons of options to choose from and you are given space to shop and try on frames without feeling pressured. Once I found my pair, Alyssa was able to process everything in less than 5 minutes! I love my frames and can’t wait for them to arrive. I also love that they have an app so now I can order the other pair that I didn’t get today.
