Comprehensive exams starting at $105
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

A screening for issues like glaucoma and cataracts, and for signs of other health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and more
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Was searching for my first pair of glasses after not finding a pair I was happy with at my own optometrist’s office. I stopped by to try on a couple frames I’d found browsing online. I was feeling awkward and out of place when I arrived but Colleen and Mallory (sorry if I’ve spelled your names incorrectly!) put me at ease and helped to find why I was looking for, made recommendations and provided feedback when I was indecisive. Once narrowed down I got family feedback and placed an order. Overall, an excellent customer service experience. Thanks for putting up with this indecisive customer!

Curtis was so helpful and amazing. The whole experience was flawless.
Make your appt online, fill out paperwork, show up and bam, eye exam and glasses.
First time going into a store, been ordering glasses from wardby online for yrs.
Its great to order frames online to try and send bck.

This was my second trip to Warby Parker's mall store. I was getting new lenses in my glasses after having cateract surgery. The store associate that placed my order did not verify my mailing address. Once she completed the order, I asked her what address the order was going to and sure enough it was an old address. She acknowledged that she should have verified my address before placing the order. She took down my current address and assured me she would take care of it. Two days later, I did not see an update through the app, so I called customer service just to double check. The rep that took my call confirmed that the address was still the old one, so they took care of it.
