Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

What a great experience. From the time I was greeted upon entering, checking in, eye exam and ordering glasses what a great customer service. The eye doctor was very understanding and explained things to me so I could understand. They mail your glasses to you! Excellent! I would highly recommend. What a relaxing, unnerving experience.

I’ve had my last two eye exams at this Warby Parker and the experience was A+ from being to end both times. I’m very impressed with the technology they have, they have a machine that doesn’t require dilation to see inside your whole eye. This time I ordered a new pair of glasses and was in and out in under an hour for the whole process. I think WP is technically out of network for my vision insurance but even still my out of pocket expense is less than my former eye doctor (when buying eyeglasses). I’ll be setting up an appointment for my 11 yr old soon. They do not have pediatric equipment so best to bring kids who are old enough to identify letters. They do sell kids size glasses. We got my 4 yr olds prescription glasses there a couple yrs ago.

I’ve been a warby parker customer for a few years and love their frames. The in-store experience is always great. Today, my 10 year old got an eye exam as we needed to get him new glasses and the doctors giving the eye exam were tremendous. They were great with my little guy and even went over the x-rays with him. Terrific experience all around. I had an eye exam that was exceptionally thorough and professional, with an optometrist who explained everything fully. Very impressed! I also worked with two salespeople to select new glasses and prescription sunglasses. Both were pleasant and helpful.
