Dr. Shayla Sellars-Jaynes is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2009. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Sellars-Jaynes uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)

Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I've been wearing Warby Parker since 2010 or something like that, so I was stoked to hear they opened a shop in Exton (much closer to where I leave in Thorndale/Downingtown).
The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable, from the guys at the front desk to the eye exam. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable, and I gotta say...being able to try frames on in-person without having to deal with the back and forth of mailed try-on frames, AND get the added bonus of someone cleaning and tightening my current frames for free? Pretty awesome.
Very glad they're here, and looking forward to seeing them again in 2 years. Don't change, Warby @ Exton. You're doing good.

I arrived 5 minutes after the new Warby Parker store at the Exton Target had already closed. I fully expected the employees that were still inside to tell me that the store had already closed and to come back tomorrow. But far from it: they opened the door again, invited me in with a smile, and adjusted the glasses I bought at another Warby Parker store months ago for a perfect fit. It didn't give them any additional revenue. But that kindness and above and beyond customer experience will make me loyal and have me return for many years to come. Thank you so much! Very friendly and competent staff. Handled my inquiries and issues with script professionally.
Only issue is I ordered 2 pair of glasses. One pair is scheduled to be delivered to my home address and one pair to the store address. I believe this is just a small error on the store personnel.

Took my 12-year-old daughter here to shop for her first pair of glasses. The associates were very helpful, pulled all the pairs they thought she would like based on her preference, and the whole process of trying them on and ordering took under 10 minutes! Very convenient and much more affordable than a similar pair she liked at the optometrist office. ($95 vs $250)

I don’t really give reviews, but from the time I walked in to the time I left, everyone including the doctor greeted me so politely and help me with questions. The doctor was very kind and knowledgeable and let me know each step what was happening. She explained things very well and didn’t rush me when I asked a question. I would highly recommend this location!
