Dr. Jessica Frye graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University (PCO) in 2013. She is proud to be a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. As a Pennsylvania native (fun fact: she graduated from Pine-Richland High School), she is grateful to be practicing close to her hometown community. In her downtime, Dr. Frye enjoys sewing and biking.

Dr. Angelique Vasquez is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 2020. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Vasquez uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had never been to Warby Parker. I looked online and saw several frames I liked. I then went to Warby Parker and had an eye exam and picked frames. Their prices for frames are very reasonable and the personnel there are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is where I'll go next time for glasses. I highly recommend them.

Got a gift card for Christmas and stopped in to use it. I brought my prescription with me. The staff was very helpful and they are not pushy or bothering you the whole time. You can look for as long as you like. The check out process was really quick. I plan to come back for my yearly exam.

We typically get our glasses at VisionWorks, but decided upon recommendation of a colleague to try Warby Parker. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They didn’t pressure me to up sale or add anything unnecessary. The sales associate fixed and adjusted my son’s current glasses without me asking. I ended up paying out of pocket as we had purchased glasses in Feb with our insurance and needed an additional pair, but actually paid $50 less than what we got in Feb with insurance at Warby Parker. 10/10 customer service! We will definitely be back!

My friend and I went to the Warby Parker in the Ross Park Mall for the first time. There were 3 employees standing there and no one seemed to thrilled to be bothered to help us. I asked a few questions about insurance and all they said is we don't know. Needless to say we left and went to vision works. They took the time to look up our insurance and explain it to us. My friend and I gave our business to vision works. So warby parker lost 2 sales that day.
