Dr. Shakil Syed
Introduction
Dr. Shakil Syed is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in 2002. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Syed uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I like WP's product, so my tendency would be to give a good review based simply on that. BUT, I had to drop a 5-star review because this store provides A-1 top-notch service. The staff was very helpful as they assisted me with my new selection, they cleaned my old glasses and now they look new, and when my order arrived before the expected date and my frames needed a slight adjustment WP took care of that promptly and happily. I read through a couple of the 1-star reviews before writing this and wondered if those customers were even on the same planet. WP Lehigh Valley is a great option.

Great experience! Everyone was very helpful when my wife was choosing her glasses. There were so many options that she liked it was hard to decide! Prices are super reasonable where a lot of the extras are included, I would have had to pay extra at a competitor for scratch protection and anti glare. They were also very helpful with the insurance benefits process. Highly recommend!!!!!

Very professional, patient, and personable staff members to take the time to listen to your needs and address any issues you may have. My son broke his old glasses, and the staff member and eyewear technician took their time to find a new frame that would fit his lenses. I was really impressed with their service and bought a backup pair of glasses, which both came out much cheaper without insurance at LensCrafters!

Two weeks ago I ordered two pair of glasses. I asked is the frames are still in stock and not discontinued?
Both pairs are in stock.
Paid and was told it would take 7 to 10 business days to complete my order.
After two weeks we just found out the frames are no longer available. Why did they failed to contact me on this ? Don’t spend your hard earned money at Warby Parker. Unless you like to be disappointed and lied to.
