Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Weir uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had a great experience at Warby Parker! The doctor was thorough, pleasant, and attentive, explaining what she was doing and why. I enjoyed my appointment with her! The retail associates were helpful and encouraging when trying on glasses and sunglasses, as well as updating information and making sure my insurance was correctly applied. I went today ready to purchase a pair of glasses. The 2 women there were unhelpful and stand-offish to the point of being rude. They spent the entire time talking to each other and never asked if I needed help. When I asked for help in choosing frames they told me to just “try them on,” even when I asked specific questions about frame width, fit, etc. The glasses themselves were nice and I will probably make the purchase online. I was truly shocked by how disinterested the sales women were in engaging with and helping me. I will not return.

Update:
Today is Monday, December 8. I placed my order on Monday, October 20. I still do not have my glasses. This order got so horribly screwed up that they re-ordered it and that order is also somewhere in the black hole. This has been the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had in my entire life. I am a senior citizen, living on a fixed income and I've been waiting six weeks for a pair of glasses to be made. It has been the most frustrating experience and ended up costing me an additional $750 in Boston To have glasses made while I waited in order to have them for my son‘s wedding on December 6 . I will absolutely never use this company again and I have advised people to do the same. They do not deliver what they promise and they will not give you a straight answer and all they will do is thank you for being patient Without giving you a straight answer on anything. Horrible, horrible horrible horrible experience and it’s still not resolved. Zero stars for Wsrby Parker. What a stinking racket.
I went for an eye exam and ordered my glasses on October 21. Today is November 20 and they’re still working on my glasses and they cannot guarantee delivery in time for my son‘s wedding on December 5. Totally unacceptable. I will never use Warby Parker again after this very very frustrating experience
