We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
The well-known portion of an eye exam where you read from a chart of progressively shrinking letters until they're too small to see

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

This review is not for the store it's for the company overall. I ordered a pair of glasses on January 7 and on January 30 cancelled the order due to it not moving thru the system. They were just sitting there in the build stage. I was promised that they would have the order by the end of the week, which would have been the 30th, but no movement at all. They promise two weeks delivery. I guess for some.

Went for my first experience to get glasses through Warby Parker. Not a great one. I made the appointment for the same day that I called.. When I walked in which I was on time, they were calling someone else back to do an exam at the time I should’ve been going. I asked about this and I was told They were running behind at This point I was waiting for 25 minutes. I rescheduled for the next day walked in on time and I was told they could not file for insurance. They were not set up yet. I told them the day prior that I had insurance and they’re just figuring this out and telling me this on my second Appointment. They didn’t know this the day before on my first appointment? I just left.

Store was busy but I was greeted immediately and asked what I was looking for. Representative answered my questions and directed me to my area of interest. Rep also assisted in my final decision without being “pushy”. All in all, a first-class experience. Will recommend to friends and family. Hopefully shipping will be timely.

Yesterday I selected new glasses at Warby Parker, Knoxville, TN. This is the second time I’ve used this store. Years ago I tried it online, but found it too limiting. After my first purchases (standard and sunglasses) I was hooked. I feel I received excellent quality at a reasonable price. I hate to pay the ridiculous prices I find at other stores. Halle was fantastic! She was the perfect amount of helpful, but gave us time/space. She was also proactively informative and knowledgeable at every turn. I'm disappointed that I haven't made an in-store visit sooner! We ordered multiple glasses. The staff was beyond wonderful from John, to Lindsey (I’m not sure if I’m spelling it right) and Rhonda. They all were so friendly, helpful, and patient. I never felt rushed, they answered all my questions, and it never felt like they were getting bored with me. They really did go above and beyond! I’d done my homework and had been shopping around for new frames after seeing my eye doctor, but nothing had captured my excitement until I did a virtual try-on with the WP app.
It was nice to arrive at the store and be greeted with enthusiasm, you can tell the staff there really enjoys their job (or they’re really good at pretending they do) lol! It was also nice that the store actually had ALL the frames I’d tried on virtually so I could see them in person and know exactly how they felt. If I had enough money I’d buy dozens of glasses and visit WP every month. 😊 I can’t wait to get my glasses in a couple of weeks. I will update this review, if I remember to, once I’ve received my glasses.

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of all the styles and custom options for their frames. They were all very helpful in choosing a frame. Warby Parker makes it fairly easy to find a frame as all are classified as narrow, medium or wide and arranged in rows so you can find a size easily. At this time, the West Knoxville location does not have an optometrist, so you must take in your prescription; my daughter had an eye exam elsewhere last week. We ordered 2 pairs of glasses for her today for about the cost of one pair at her eye doctor office. We were in and out in less than an hour; most of that time was trying on different frames. Will update after she picks up the glasses in a couple of weeks.

This was our third time visiting the store to purchase new prescription glasses. The frame options are wonderful, the employees are friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. We made a special trip to the store after getting our eye exams elsewhere (no optometrist at this location). We will keep coming back for future purchases.
