Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

This place is simply fantastic!!! I went in to get my first pair of glasses in 9 years and I had been dreading the process knowing how indecisive I can be. I was only in the store for about 20 minutes tops and actually walked out with the pair of glasses that was first recommended for me. (The employees KNOW what they are doing, and they’ll be honest with you when helping you select a pair.) 2 weeks later, I’m still in love with these glasses!
A week later, I walked back in for help choosing another pair of frames with the goal to get the lenses tinted by the Irlen Institute. (The restrictions on what type on lenses allowed being very strict.) Again, I was assisted on finding the perfect pair of frames for my needs and was accommodated in turning sunglasses into the type of lenses needed, which was a very strange request.
Both times I was assisted by Iris, who is simply incredible in what she does!!! Every other employee I have encountered has also been very helpful and professional. But none can top Iris in my book!

Warby Parker is awesome! The staff is great! Dr. Cruz was very professional and listened to any concerns I had. There are tons of Frame options. Even for a wide head person like me.😂 I highly recommend Warby Parker. Their exam equipment is state of the art and the store was very casual and contemporary with excellent lighting with lots of mirrors. This is THEE standard in eye exams and eye wear.

I’ve been a WP customer for over 6 yrs and this visit to the Arlington location added the cherry on top. I went in for my annual eye exam and to look into glasses and contacts. Shortly after my visit I became unwell to the eye. I asked the associate if I could take a seat to collect myself and she agreed. As a little time went by, not only did the associate ask how I was feeling but so did the rest of the staff. I went from not feeling my best to feeling worse. One of the staff members suggested to call the ambulance and I agreed. In the meantime, the staff gave me water and a nutritious bar to see if that would help. I wasn’t available to come back after the ambulance came. But I wanted to give the biggest thank you to everyone who helped and showed kindness, concern and patience while I went through my medical emergency. What a great way to start off the year 2026 knowing I will continue to be a WP customer! 💜💜💜
