Dr. Catherine Albrecht
Introduction
Dr. Catherine Albrecht graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2014. As a Texas native (fun fact: she graduated from Leander High School), she is grateful to be practicing close to her hometown community. In her downtime, Dr. Albrecht enjoys playing pickleball.
Dr. Nehal Verma
Introduction
Dr. Nehal Verma is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry in 2015. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Verma uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Terrible experience. Walked in for a minor adjustment on new glasses so they wont slip off as much. The employee bent the glasses like a pretzel and handed them back to me completely uneven . When I asked to straighten them out and the employee called me “honey”. Can you imagine if l did that as an employee to someone? creepy employee calling you “honey”, it was uncomfortable and I should have said something then and there but I didn’t want them to break my glasses . Super uncomfortable experience just for the most minor adjustment. I think management should train the employee on appropriate ways to address a customer. I don’t need someone to call me sir or mister but “Honey” is going too far. he clearly did it to belittle me when he was frustrated that I wasn’t going to walk away with messed up glasses. The way the glasses were so bent up unevenly I thought it was a joke like I was being pranked. At the end another employee bent them back as much as possible but they remain worse than they started.

I have been to a number of warby parker locations in different states and cities. i think this is the best experience i’ve had. It’s all about the service professional that you get. Because of Zak? i bought two pair of glasses and I. was happy when i walked out. i haven’t received the glasses yet, but this experience was outstanding.
I’m a different demographic from store personnel, and i don’t like being patronized. You know? sometimes when you’re old the staff helping get stiff, and maybe “bored”…
Zak was just nice, easy, fun, casual.
Yes the frames are great, but experience, and paying attention go a long way toward excellence. Anyway, thanks, Zak.
i have to amend this- the product is where warby falls down. unfortunately the manufacture and the shipping is slower than they proclaim. And my last pair hurts, had them only a year, and they’ve been adjusted twice. they are titanium, shouldn’t bend or get out of shape, but they hurt more since the last adjustment.
However, that was NoT done by the store i reviewed above, so i’m leaving that and adding on. Will they bury the review now that it isn’t stellar?
