Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

My son and I both went in for an eye exam and were in and out in under an hour - which included finding and purchasing new glasses. Every person we came in contact with was AMAZING from the doctor, to the sales person who assisted my son in making his first-ever glasses purchase to the person who helped us navigate our insurance and reimbursement. And they have such an incredible variety of frames - truly something for every style!

Arrived at exactly the 7:01 pm when store closed. Door open and big truck in front of store making parking hard. Walked in store just to have my new glasses adjusted. I asked if they could please just adjust my new glasses. Response from three employees looking at me. “No mam, we are off the clock.” I get it, it would’ve taken five minutes and they wouldn’t have been paid for those minutes. Had they helped me when their doors were still open, understanding it had taken longer to park because of the trucks, I would’ve come back and given five stars and just praised them. It’s an example of not going above and beyond in a situation. I’ll come back but wanted others to know that they don’t go above and beyond. * Meanwhile one of the large trucks moved behind my car and blocked me in causing me to sit and wait on them to move it.

We had such a wonderful experience at this location. Lynn and Shelby welcomed us and were helped, attentive, friendly and professional. Lynn gave us some really good eye glasses care information and submitted our reimbursement request with our insurance company. There is a large variety of frame styles. And such a great price. The team was fantastic! They were friendly, hassle free, and also no pressure to buy which ultimately led me to purchasing my glasses from here. They helped file my claim with VSP after which was so helpful (thanks y’all!) and after all is said and done, I got a sweet pair of glasses for $55. FYI: I shopped around (Vision Source, Target, Costco, America’s Best) and honestly this was the best deal. Also, I like how if I don’t like my glasses I can get a different pair that day. I also appreciate the six month scratch protection and lifetime adjustments. Shop around if you want but I really appreciate the value and overall experience I received at WP.

Had a wonderful experience selecting and ordering my glasses. Stop in here two different times before finally deciding on what to buy. Both times the staff was warm, inviting, friendly, and helpful. Even when busy the staff make sure to greet and check in on me as I was browse. When I ordered the staff worked to ensure I'd receive my glasses in a timely manner. Will update once my glasses arive.
