Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had such a great experience at Warby Parker Preston Park Colonnade! I was actually about to leave because I was in a hurry, but the woman who helped me made me want to stay. She was super helpful, listened to everything I wanted, and made sure I got really stylish glasses with all the features I needed—and for less than I expected!
She went out of her way to make sure I was happy with everything, which honestly made the whole process easy and enjoyable. You don’t get service like that very often. Glad I stayed—definitely recommend this location!

The lady working today, I believe her name was Michelle (was wearing cute pins on her vest) was so kind and attentive. She made it clear what the prices of the eye exam were, and how much my lenses would be. Because my current glasses are very broken, she made sure that my new glasses would come in the mail ASAP so I could stop wearing my broken glasses. Also, the optometrist working today was very kind and explained every step of the process during the exam. Overall this place is amazing and I will be sure to recommend this place to my friends when their next eye exams are due.

I went in for an eye exam and as i walked in, the glasses i was wearing literally broke! The staff was so kind and helpful. By the time my exam was over, another staff person had my glasses fixed!! I also purchased a pair of glasses with them even though I live many states away, there is a Warby Parker near where I live. I highly recommend Warby Parker on Preston Road, Plano TX... you won't be disappointed.

The customer service at this location was fantastic. I had an eye exam and needed to order new glasses, and the experience was efficient and pleasant every step of the way. Dr. Le was beyond thorough and took the time to answer all my questions about not only glasses but contacts.
She even came out post exam after I had my eye glasses adjusted to check if the prescription had changed based on my focal adjustment.
