Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I brought in my re-made glasses to the store today because I'm seeing double vision on the right side, but the left side was perfectly fine.
This pair was re-made once becasue the default focal point was in the center of the lenses. In order for me to see clearly, the frame would sit awkward on my face, out of proportion. After they made the focal point higher, I can see clearly with the left eye, but the right eye was seeing things layered and blurry. So I brought it to the store again today.
They remeasured and double checked everything, and they told me the glasses was made correctly, and maybe my vision had changed within 3 months. They asked me to bring my glasses back to my eye doctor, who has nothing to do with the making of the glasses, to exam what's wrong with it.
And you know what? My doctor told me that I'm the 3rd patient that had problem with Warby Parker this month, so she doesn't recommend her patients to get glasses at Warby Parker.
This is ridiculous. I've never had such a bad experience in my 30 years of 20+ pairs of optical lenses. Why is my doctor responsible for the making of the glasses? Makes no sense.

I recently got my glasses in the mail and I absolutely love them. Shoutout to the staff for being so welcoming, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process. The employee who helped me, Asher, was especially kind and brought out several pairs while giving honest feedback that really helped me decide since I’m indecisive. It was refreshing to feel like the team actually cared about helping me find the right fit. Overall, an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this Warby Location.

Obviously the reviews to this store are purchased reviews. I’ve gone back and forth since September with Warby Parker to get my lenses right. Unfortunately they fell short again and I still cannot see out of the distorted lenses. I even had to take the glasses to my eye Dr to have the prescription checked. No change to my prescription. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere. My prescription is very easy to fill but this company could not get it done.

Update! This is my second pair of WP glasses and my 2nd pair that gets loose and falls down my face. I will never buy another pair of WP glasses again. Plus they don't even take eye med insurance.
