Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had to change my review. 10 working days after I placed my order with Warby Parker, I called to check on my order and it has not even been started. Apparently the technician forgot to include PD measurements. No one called to let me know.
When I spoke with the manager, all they could offer was expedited processing for roughly another 10 days.
I did cancel my order for $1200 worth of glasses.
Warby Parker do better.
Warby Parker at La Cantera has excellent service! I was able to use my insurance and the people were over the top friendly. It was not even crowded! Great selection of glasses!

Lenses are 2 years old now, and are by far the lowest quality I’ve ever purchased. The coating is protective coating is peeling away and I NEVER use any cleaning products other than a cloth designed for lenses.
Lower expectations from a practical purchase to simply a fashion purchase. Not a good option for those with more challenging vision correction needs.

Went into this location expecting a straightforward visit using my insurance, and was told everything would be covered when the first associate checked my benefits. I was later charged anyway with no clear explanation at the time from the next associate who helped me what I was being charged for. Only after following up with their Customer Service line did they admit I was given incorrect information and shouldn't have been charged. Despite them admitting fault and after way too many emails and phone calls, they’ve offered a small credit instead of a proper refund (for a "non-insurance" purchase), which is not acceptable.
Really disappointing experience both in-store and with customer service and don't plan to return. Take your business to LensCrafters in the mall instead.

10/10! Amazing, highly focused service. I spent less than 30–40 minutes in the store, yet in that short time it was an incredible experience. The person who assisted me was able to recommend the perfect frame just by looking at my face and listening to my color preferences—and she was absolutely spot on. The people in the store are amazing!!! Jackson, thank you! Helpful and friendly, not pushy. I bought 3 pairs of subscription glasses and spent less than I ever have. Looking for a change in my eyeglass frames and WP has a plethora of choices. So happy they now fulfill prescriptions and accept vision insurance. People were courteous and knowledgeable and quick! I got my glasses ordered in a short span and was happily surprised at the price compared to what I usually pay for progressive lens. Next: sunglasses!!
