Dr. Quang Nguyen is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2020. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Nguyen uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Absolutely wonderful!! Everyone was so kind, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous for my eye exam but everyone being so kind and patient really helped ease my mind. Amazing eye specialist and exam. He really took the time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions, he was incredibly knowledgeable and kind! All around a wonderful experience. I highly recommend!

When I first walked in I was approached by an employee who asked a couple of questions and then I was left alone while I browsed for as long as I needed. It was only after I had been there awhile that en employee asked me if I needed any help. At that time I was going through my selfies trying to narrow down my choices. She asked if I’d like a second opinion and I took her up on it. She asked me what frames I was deciding between and went around the store and grabbed the 5(!) frames I liked. She was very sweet, patient, and honest. I was interested in getting a clip-on but the ones for my frames were out of stock due to a manufacturing issue. She thought another frame’s clip-on would fit and looked up both frames’ measurements and asked a nearby coworker. They both thought they didn’t have any in stock at the store but he went and double checked and they had some and they fit! The ordering and checkout process was super smooth and easy.

I came in for a follow-up after a rushed appointment with a different eye doctor at another location, and the difference with Dr. Quang Nguyen was immediately clear. He was patient, thorough, and took the time to actually listen and explain what he was seeing and why it mattered. I never felt hurried or dismissed.
Dr. Nguyen answered my questions clearly, made sure I understood my options, and treated the appointment like my eyes belonged to a real person, not a time slot. The experience restored my confidence in the care I was receiving.

Unique in excellent customer service people and policies, large selection of a variety of frames, received product is exactly as prescribed and ordered---this is the only place I consider for eyeglasses.
