Dr. Quang Nguyen is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2020. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Nguyen uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Really great experience purchasing glasses. I didn't do my eye exam here so just brought my prescription from another doctor. I've had to purchase glasses multiple times since I was younger and this was probably one of the easiest processes I've experienced.
There's a ton of styles to choose from and it's great that many of them come in different colors that can be ordered. The checkout took maybe 15 minutes and was very straightforward.
On top of that they have the best prices I've seen in a long time! They were also running a 20% off your second frame and the rep made sure I got the maximum discount using insurance and the store discount.
I would highly recommend this store! Simple, easy, friendly, and got exactly what I wanted!

I was looking for a more affordable eye exam than the one I had been getting at a very large eye center in Dallas. Not only was this exam more affordable, but Dr. Nguyen seemed to have more expertise with my contact and glasses fitting/prescription. Very friendly too and answered all my questions. And there was no wait.

This is my 2nd time this year having a fantastic glasses-shopping experience at this location, thanks to Dana and Jack. They do a great job of making the process stress-free and enjoyable without creating any pressure or rush to buy something. The store is clean and well-organized. They spent a solid 20 minutes helping us find the best pair of glasses for my shy 9-year-old.

Outstanding customer service and follow-through on every visit. Also - a little-known fact is that the eyeglass styles come in several sizes. I have a narrow face, and the other optical stores only have 2 or 3 frames in the whole store that are narrow enough, and they are never the style I am looking for.

Guess I was expecting a similar experience like other eyeglasses retailers. I went today and was greeted promptly but that was about it. Lots! of sales associates standing around chatting but no help other than "we have narrow medium and wide, let us know if we can help?" I had questions and I could tell immediately these are sales people and not opticians and most definitely not ABO certified. I tried some frames on but no one offered an opinion or pulled any other's to try on. I was out in less than 10 minutes.

The sales associates were professional and courteous. My eye exam went smoothly and the doctor explained every step and result. I had booked and eye exam online that morning so I could walk in and be helped - that went smoothly. Choosing glasses was more complicated but lots of options and finally picked and completed the order. Can't wait to get my glasses in the mail.

This is the second time that I've been to this location. The last time it was crazy busy, but they still did a great job of taking care of me.
This time they were not near as busy, and they got me in and checked in. I was able to see the doctor and get my order done very, very quickly.

Dr Nguyen was among the best optometrist I have seen. Knowledgeable. Educational. Made me confident in the prescription he wrote — then he came out to discuss with opticians — two of them weighed in and did a lot of geometry math. It was amazing to experience their expertise and customer care.
