Dr. Christopher Zahora is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2024. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Zahora uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

This location was able to accommodate a same day appointment request after a previous appointment at a different retailer didn't work out. The lady who scheduled my appointment was knowledgeable and answered questions about eye exam fees and even the best mall entrance door to enter to reach the location effortlessly. Once at the location, all personnel were friendly and the doctor was accommodating, knowledgeable ressurring and patient. After my eye exam, the associates helped me pick some amszing frames. All pricing was upfront with no hidden costs. My experience was a 10 out of 10, and I highly recommend them.

I bought glasses from here for around $400. They are progressive lenses so stupid expensive everywhere. The lenses scratched within 3 months. I brought them to the store & was told they would have to take the glasses & ship them back to factory & it could take 20 days! Really?! I’ve had cheeeeaaaap glasses from zenni for the last 10 years. They haven’t scratched until I’ve had them for well over a year. Many lasted longer. I needed different lenses from zenni one time for a pair of the glasses I ordered from them. They just shipped me the lenses & they have a video that tells you how to do it!! Warby Parker acting like it’s 1994!!!! I have no other glasses to wear so I CAN’T let them have them for 20 days!!! I definitely won’t be back. I feel taken advantage of & swindled!!!

I was absolutely blown away by my first experience at Warby Parker Pentagon City!! The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to answer my (many) questions. The eye exam was very smooth and efficient and I was very impressed by the modern exam technology available to make the process so easy and comfortable. I also appreciated the variety and affordability of frames. This experience was great, and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Place is a joke. I walked in 7 minutes late for the last appointment of the day, and was told I could not be seen. Meanwhile if I was greeted immediately upon walking in, instead of having to wait, I would have been fine. I drove through 30 minutes of traffic, just to not be seen as the last customer of the day.
I will not be coming back here, and my significant other needed glasses as well, and she will also be getting them elsewhere now.
These people must hate money, whoever hires and trains their staff loves to lose money for the owners.

Their customer service told me on the phone they could support a driver’s license renewal eye exam so I made an appointment, but then when I got to the store they could not do it because they did not have the right equipment. Do not recommend.

The entire staff was amazing! I walked in for a cleaning kit and left with two new pairs of glasses that I really like. I was guided on which frames suit my face better and my measurements were taken with care. Alexis and Roberto did an excellent job! There was also one other team member (female) that I did not catch her name, was also amazing. I highly recommend this location and Warby Parker to anyone. Service, care, and prices like this is why I will continue to return and sing this locations praises.
