Introduction
Dr. Christopher Zahora is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2024. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Zahora uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Me and my friends walked in and we were greeted nicely by a kind man and the elder in question was not paying attention and on her phone. As my friends and I were browsing she all of a sudden starts shadowing me and my friends. I noticed some sort of machine one table and I accidentally touched it and this bald headed black elder told me to not touch, which i immediately complied but right after I stepped away she very rudely said “Leave” and said “your kicked out” while my friends and I didn't do anything. If this is how you treat potential clients then it reflects on how you run your business. Extremely disappointing especially because I wanted to purchase multiple pairs for my family in my country. I also wanted to buy a pair of clear glasses and im really disappointed I wasn’t able too, i was really looking forward to them. :( Im not sure if she just looked at us and assumed we were just playing around because my friends and I are 18-20 and she thought we were childish but that is no way to treat a person. Will not recommend coming if you are a young person because clearly miss girl peaked a couple of dozen years ago. Below is the glasses I wanted to get but couldnt☹️☹️. I am so upset. The man was very kind and welcoming. #fireher

Very horrible customer service. Me and my two friends came in to view some of the glasses frames and there was a very rude older black lady working at the time. When we entered she didn’t even welcome us and was on her phone. We were browsing some glasses at the corner of the store and she was noticeably staring us down the whole time with a ugly expression on her face. Me and my friends noticed a table with something that looked like a medicine reader for glasses so my friend touched it to get a closer view at it. That very rude employee then decided to start yelling out loud for her to put that down and that we were getting kicked out of the store. She purposely tried to embarrassed us and tried to act like we were causing ruckus within the store. If somethings not meant to be touched by visitors it shouldn’t be out in the open. I have been looking through other reviews and noticed many other people have complained about her aswell and nothing is being done about it. She has nothing to do better than to be rude and racist. Warby parker is going to be losing many customers at this location because of the actions of that woman. I wish I had gotten her name but something needs to be done about this obvious problem.

Jerius was incredibly helpful, patient and kind! The frame he suggested was an instant hit, which was relieving because I was looking for right fitting frames for so long at various different stores. I took off a half day of work for an appointment at Warby for a new glasses prescription, for 2:35 PM. I walked in at 2:41 PM and was told there is a 5 minute grace period between appointments and that mine had been cancelled.
No prescription, no glasses, burned a half-day of leave, and paid $15 in garage parking for the pleasure. Done with Warby and I’m going back to my local optician.

This was my our first time coming to Warby Parker , from making the appointment, to our eye exam, ordering new frames it was painless , everyone was so pleasant . The gentleman in reservations was very nice making my appointments for both of us .The optometrist I had Dr. Christopher Zahora was excellent, my eye exam was great, he took his time which is important to me , I recommend him 150 percent. The young lady Zeineb is a great plus to your store , she helped me purchase my glasses , never made me feel rushed , she was kind , caring and thorough.
My husband was there the day before and he had Dr. Tara Stanley , he spoke so highly about her , she was wonderful too . Ashley helped him with his frames and adjustments and I see what he meant saying she was so pleasant and sweet I meet her today and totally agree .
I picked up my glasses they needed alittle adjustment , Johanna is great in what she does, she was patient with me and made sure I was satisfied with how they felt , she assured me if I needed to return no worries she’s there to help , You are so lucky to have such a great team . I also met the manager , sorry I didn’t get his name he’s very welcoming and remembered both of us , he has blonde hair I’m sure that helps .
I had to return today Rosalinda greeted me and was as pleasant as can be , Zeineb recognized me and made sure everything was ok what great customer service Pentagon City employee's have, you are very lucky . I then shared with Alexis a bit of a problem I had she assured me not to worry and helped me till I was satisfied with my glasses, what a sweet young lady ,I love this store 10 stars ⭐️.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but this most recent experience has been awful. I got two pairs of glasses, a pair of sunglasses, and contacts. Something is terribly wrong because I cannot see out of one eye, my eyes cannot focus or work together and everything is blurry. The company keeps promising that my doctor will call, but I never get a call. They’ve just stopped acknowledging my calls and emails completely. It’s a great experience when everything is fine, but when they mess up making your glasses they ignore you. Never coming back to Warby Parker again.

Today, December 30, 2025, I picked up another pair of prescription glasses and a sunglass clip to place over the glasses with Johanna's professional assistance. 🤓After doctor Kudos provided my eye results, I am going to do a better job protecting my eyesight. 👀

In town for work and needed to get new glasses. I stopped by the Warby Parker in Pentagon City Mall today and had probably one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at any Warby Parker. Dalton (manager) and Michelle E. (WP customer rep) were so awesome. They were professional, polite, and determined to help me find a solid set of frames.
Before even trying on a single pair, I told them both I wanted their honest opinions about what looked good and what didn’t — and that’s exactly what they gave me. After trying on what felt like every frame in the entire store (seriously was like 30 pairs), I ended up finding a great pair we all agreed on. Huge shout-out to both of them. If you’re a Warby Parker person, def stop by this location. 🤙🏽

Great experience and an overall fantastic team! I went in for my first pair of glasses in a long time, so had to decide on frames, lens type, and basically everything. The team quickly helped me pick out a pair of frames, but aesthetically it wasn't quite right when the glasses came in (perfect choice of frames, I just needed a smaller size). They went out of their way to make sure I was happy with my pair and were eager to help me and send them back out for a replacement. A huge thank you to Jerius, who's super knowledgable and who I've had the pleasure of working with a few times now, and a really wonderful staff who truly cared that I was happy with my glasses and my experience!
