We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Got an eye exam here where I was diagnosed with Keratoconus. My eye specialist cannot get any information from the Warbly Parker store or optometrist. I called the store and got the call center they have no records, cant tell me who the doctor who gave me my exam is or their phone number and refuse to give me the number to the store, their name or the name of the person supposed to call me back. Very rude service. Will never visit a Warby Parker location again.

I arrived early for my appointment. I was greeted promptly even though the store was busy. Staff checked to see if the doctor could see me early. While I waited, I was shown styles of glasses that might fit my face. The assistant and the doctor explained every step of the exam and made me feel comfortable. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I felt the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend Warby Parker Tysons Corner.

My first visit to Warby Parker at Tysons Corner Center was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to answer my questions, provide recommendations, and make the entire process feel easy and enjoyable.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the great prices and the wide selection of stylish frames. There were so many modern, fashionable options to choose from that it was actually fun trying on different looks. The quality, style, and affordability together made this one of the best eyewear shopping experiences I’ve had.

Selection was good, but service was a bit pushy. I later learned that I paid an up-charge for something I did not need, or ask for. Don’t allow the sales person rush you and request an itemized bill prior to payment.

Had a great experience ordering new glasses here. I walked in 15 minutes before the store closed, and the associate gave me helpful feedback on different frames, walked me through figuring out my insurance benefits, and helped me finish up my online order after they'd closed. I didn't have my prescription with me, so added it later online.

I took my 10 year old son to this Warby Parker to get him an updated glasses prescription and to get him fitted for contact lenses. He’s a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was constantly having issues with his glasses sliding off his face when he was training. Dr. Wah and Jennifer were amazing with him! I can’t say enough good things about how patient and kind they were with him. They taught him proper hygiene and lots of tips and tricks for getting him to be successful with his contacts. He had his first Tae Kwon Do class with his contacts on and said it made a world of difference in his training. Thank you for all the help in getting him to be successful with his contacts. I’ll definitely be bringing him back next year for his next eye exam.

Disgusting and inhumane! I recently put in a complaint about this location through their internal customer service and when I came to pick up my glasses a couple days later I received my glasses with a box that was urinated in. Yes… urinated. The manager that handed me the box has been with the company prior to this location relocating from their old location within the mall and I’ve submitted a customer service complaint on him back then. I am so disgusted and in disbelief because I actually put the glasses on my face from the box when I asked him to take them out the box so I could try it on. I smelled the urine immediately, but I thought he was just having a bad hygiene day. How could an internal customer service complaint trigger this type of employee’s behavior. Only a sick minded individual would do such a thing. Hopefully this Google review will prevent this from happening to another customer, if it hasn’t already.
