We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

All the staff at the Cary Court Warby Parker are knowledgable and excellent. Its a really great location to get glasses.

I've ordered glasses from WP several times and used to go to Short Pump (which is also great) but was happy when this location opened since it is close to where I live. The staff are all friendly, attentive and don't hover when picking out frames. Recently, I had to have 2 pair of glasses adjusted and both were handled quickly. When I ordered glasses in the past, they arrived at my home quickly (about a week). I have done an eye exam at this location too, very easy to schedule and take care of.

I have been a Warby Parker fan since my first pair of glasses a few years ago because their products seem to be high value. Today I was equally impressed by the service I received. Albert was super knowledgable about each of my options and offered helpful advice on what glasses I should consider pursuing. He even personally reiterated that the 30-day refund policy wasn't 'fluff' and encouraged me to come back in if I was displeased in any way with the glasses I selected. Solid combination of professionalism, warmth, expertise and exceptional customer service. I'll definitely continue to be a repeat customer!

I needed new glasses for driving; didn't want a hassle or to spend too much. The sole hassle I experienced at Warby-Parker was slight difficulty parking. Staff were friendly, clearly enjoy their work, and explained options without sales pressure. Eye exam was thorough and professional. Glad I looked at frame options online first, because there were an overwhelming number of choices in the shop. And the cost posted is what you pay: no hidden fees or sneaky add-ons. I recommend Warby-Parker and expect to be a repeat customer.

My fave thing about Warby Parker is they give you your glasses and contacts prescriptions, eye measurement (PD), immediately. It’s in your online profile for you to access whenever you need it (or to order elsewhere) unlike every other place holding that info in a death grip.
Easy to schedule online, quick and efficient appointments, no one is pushy about upselling or making you buy anything that day. (Although I took advantage of a 20% off contacts same day as appointment discount.)

Glad this location is here! Very efficient exam with Dr. Trinh and a fantastic interaction with the interim manager Albert who helped me pick out the frame shape least likely to create unnecessary eye strain. He also provided some resources for better maintenance of my frames. I look forward to my next visit to this location.

Unfortunately I am unable to give a great review. First pair of prescription glasses, ordered my glasses and when they arrived I was to see let alone read with them. Reorder the glasses and have been waiting, waiting, waiting... I canceled my order when told they were being completed and waiting for inspected and would be a few more days before sending them to the store. This has taken over a month.
