Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I tried holding off writing this review. I chose Warby Parker due to seeing so many promotional advertisements regarding the price and purchase of glasses.
Unfortunately, after making my appointment I found out that my insurance EYEMED wasn't excepted and that I could request a reimbursement. I have never paid more than $10 for an eye exam; but I was okay with paying $134 because they have some really nice frames and I would just get everything done at one location.
My eye appointment was done basically Telehealth. Very quick and easy. Completed eye exam and found the perfect frames. Was asked to pay for exam first. I stated I would be paying in cash, when I found out that they are cashless. Luckily I had enough on a credit card to pay for exam. Also expressed I wished I was told this information when the appointment was confirmed through a call.
Needless to say I wasn't able to get the entirety of my glasses done. This was Feb. 20. 2026. I called last week to get a copy of my perscription emailed from the number posted on website. I was told unable to locate and that they would have to call the store. Then what number is posted that I didn't reach the store. Also told it would be about 20 minutes and it would be sent.
2 hours or so later an email was sent that unfortunately my perscription was unable to be located and the eye doctor had to be notified and they would do there best to get it to me by the end of this week.
You pay out of pocket $134 for an exam and don't keep a record of the perscription up to a year. This is supposed to be a high tech eye care place. No worries I will not be going back to this establishment again.

I walked in with two pair of Warby Parker frames One eyeglass and one sunglasses. Both were Durand style.. They were severely scratched & I wanted to purchase replacement lens. They refused because I wasn’t going from sunglasses to prescription. Made no sense .i Called the 800 number before I went in and they said no problem take it to the store. This store was not helpful at all . I Walked across to their competitor and they replaced them both with no problem. They didn’t even understand why they refused . These were both Warby Parker frames. Worst experience ever. I would NOT recommend this store!

I found a frame that I liked on the Warby Parker website. I called the support number and the customer service agent located my nearest location. I visited the Lynnhaven Store and the staff there is amazing. I had my frames and lens ordered in less than 5 minutes. Warby Parker has a great selection of frames and the staff is amazing. I was scheduled for an 1pm appointment
Today and, 30 minutes before the start time, I received a call to “reschedule” due to technical difficulties. This was extremely disappointing, as the only option offered was another day that I simply cannot attend. I had taken time off work to come in, so the last-minute cancellation with no workable alternative solutions felt very rude and unprofessional. The experience caused a significant inconvenience and left me frustrated. I hope the team can improve their communication and offer more feasible solutions in the future if something like this happens again.

Terrible experience!! They didn’t take my insurance so I was going to pay out of pocket for glasses and sunglasses. I spent an hour looking for new pairs, worked with a gentleman to process my order (who was very uninterested in helping me from the beginning) and then realizing an hour later that I never received an email on my order. I go back and the order was never placed. They just simply don’t care!! I’m so tired of businesses treating paying customers like crap!!

Step into a quality experience of eyewear, I have been a fan of warby for years and this was such a great experience for my first in store visit. I had the pleasure working with Alex and Kyle and they were both fantastic. Alex took the time to check in and offer a variety of options and was able to walk me through different frame styles and suggest options for my face based on what I was after. I ultimately opted between Hector and Tobias - Tobias in seaweed green being the winner.
Kyle was just as gracious with me and was an equal delight to work with as well! They were able to work with a photo of my current prescription and link the order to my online account. The ordering process was easy and painless. I can't wait to get my frames, thanks team!
