Dr. Rubab Naqvi

Dr. Rubab Naqvi is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2020. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Naqvi uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Warby Parker at Stonebridge has a large selection of eyewear. I explained what I was looking for and the employee selected some glasses during the time I roamed the shelves. Brianna was very professional, explained all options I had and helped making decisions. I don't have vision insurance and there was no need to go thru a submission.

I was truly impressed by the wide variety of eyewear and the incredible designs at the Stonebridge at Potomac location. The level of professionalism and knowledge from the entire team made the process of choosing both my glasses and sunglasses seamless and enjoyable.
I was able to find the perfect fit, the right style, at an affordable price that exceeded my expectations.
My only complaint—one that can't be fixed—is that I didn't discover Warby Parker sooner! From this point forward, I'm a loyal customer.

From the moment I walked in everyone was really kind and helpful. They told me about the deals, let me know about how my insurance worked, hyped me up while trying on a million different frames, and because of some encouraging words I ended up picking a pair I'd never consider! 💅 My son and I picked out 2 pairs each. Once I get my eyes checked I'll definitely be purchasing the ones we picked out! IM SO EXCITED TO GET MY NEW GLASSES!

Update, I went in to drop off my prescription after my eye exam, it was 15 minutes before closing. Some of my information didn’t get save in the system for the measurements for the ones I picked out. They had to redo them and then upload my prescription manually. Then when I was about to pay I looked to my left and saw ANOTHER PAIR OF GLASSES I LOVED! I tried them on and loved them even more. I told the staff I wanted to switch out one pair for the ones I just found. At this point they had already locked the doors and there was maybe 3 minutes left before they were officially closed. Without missing a beat and a smile they did the measurements for the new pair. And I was out the door maybe 5 minutes later.
Again, thank you! I can’t wait to get my new glasses!

I absolutely love the knowledge, experience and atmosphere. The associates are great and extremely helpful. I appreciate their willingness to get me exactly what I need. They’re so many options to choose from and the customization is unlike no other. I spend a lot of time looking at screens and now I’ll be able to get the protection I need to help me combat fatigue and glares. Come get your quick exam and choose your lenses. Outstanding—there’s really no other way to put it. I had an exceptional experience at Warby Parker today. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Ms. Anisah. I came in thinking I knew exactly which frames I wanted, but she patiently guided me through my options and even suggested a few styles she thought would suit me. She read me perfectly—I ended up loving and choosing her recommendation.
From there, I worked with Ms. Tyra, the optometrist, who truly worked her magic with my lenses. The improvement in my vision is the best I’ve ever experienced.
