Comprehensive exams starting at $115
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had a bummer experience here yesterday. I was having trouble finding a pair of glasses that fit well, and an associate told me theyd be happy to adjust them. They tapped Caiden to assist - Caiden was super helpful and went several rounds of adjustments with me.
I acknowledged a few times that they were going above my expectations and that I was happy to give up if needed.
After about 15 minutes and 4-5 adjustments, a young woman who I think was the manager on duty confronted me, told me to stop wasting their time, and that they wouldn't keep helping me until I purchased the glasses (which still didn't fit).
It's a fine policy to have and I left without a fuss, but I felt she approached me expecting a fight and brought a lot of negativity into a situation which didn't warrant it. I had simply been doing what another associate encouraged me to do, and checked in a few times throughout that this was still okay. I'm fine if that answer became a no, but there was no need to be so rude.

Warby Parker to the rescue! I’d been looking for a new pair of frames for literally 5 years and couldn’t find one that I loved anywhere. Thank goodness I kept searching and found Warby Parker! I learned that they had an actual store near me and so I went right away. Keaton and Kat were fantastic, and I found a pair that I LOVED in just a few minutes! (not the same pair that I saw online and thought I wanted; that one would not have worked) Their location inside a busy mall was not great for me as I have disabilities, but the wonderful conclusion made it all worth it. So excited to get my glasses! They’re exactly what I wanted - and for only $95. Thanks WP!

TL;DR: follow up of this location is bad, will not be returning for further exams/eye glasses.
This review is for both the doctor at the WP location and the subpar customer service via the WP call center. I recently had an eye exam at this location and the doctor mentioned during the post-exam chat that I should go see a specialist for an issue in order for them to have them take a closer look at. The doctor said that he would send a referral to this secondary office but never actually did (in my experience doctors usually send/submit paperwork at the same time as the visit).
As a patient you're not actually able to contact the doctor or the Warby Parker location, the phone number connects to a call center off-shore. I'm not opposed to a call center per se, however they were unhelpful even with getting my simple request of having the doctor to call me back to get the simple referral going. They did not offer to have the doctor or WP person follow up, even by email or text, they were unable to give me a reference number so I could refer back to the same issue if needed. They also, oddly IMO, use your email and complete shipping address(why not just an email or phone number) to look up your account, even when I clearly explained that I just needed the referral sent or to have them contact the location. After 5 days of trying to contact WP and being assured that an email request was sent the the doctor on each call, nothing had actually been done. I ended up going to another specialist and now have surgery scheduled based on their findings.
Recommendation to WP: allow for customers to contact the store, or at a minimum, give us a way to communicate with the doctor (chat, portal, etc.). Having a doctor say there's something wrong and not being able to follow up on a basic referral request is concerning. The call center approach may be a cost savings but it hampers the customer experience and led to losing a customer. I liked the business model and bought (and referred folks) to WP but no longer feel confident in doing so.
