Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I visited the store today and had the absolute best experience with the wonderful lady who helped me. I’ve been wearing glasses for more than half of my life and have visited countless eyeglass stores, including multiple Warby Parker locations, but this experience was truly amazing. She was incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel so welcomed and taken care of. I really hope Warby Parker recognizes her for the amazing customer service she provides. She deserves all the appreciation!

Sway, Sophie, and Saheed saved my life! I almost never post or review but this experience was so great I had to say something.
I came in with a broken pair of glasses with salvageable lenses that everyone else said they couldn’t work with. I really needed a pair for my day to day life but no one had something that wouldn’t require making a new lens. They worked with what I had and went the extra mile to find a great pair that I could walk out with same day and be able to see with! Without them I’d be blind even now.
All of this was at a super reasonable price. They even helped me get a new prescriptions for when I got my visions benefits! They were endlessly warm and helpful. I used to be a lifetime Costco glasses buyer but I’ve definitely been converted!

I had a wonderful experience today while at the Warby Parker Eye Care Clinic in Totem Lake, Kirkland. Dr. Chan was fantastic! He has excellent bedside manner and is clearly a true expert in eye care, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything with impressive knowledge & patience. The front staff were equally impressive: approachable, kind, and professional while making the entire process feel smooth and welcoming. They were genuinely helpful without any pushy sales tactics, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I really wish I had known about this location sooner as I’ve had less than stellar experiences at other eye care places in the last few years since needing glasses/contacts. Would have saved me so much headache and dollars wasted!
I would highly recommend this eyecare clinic and Dr. Chan to anyone!

I recently had my eye exam done and initially struggled to find frames that truly fit my face or matched my style. I’m happy to say that Warby Parker has really improved their size selection and expanded their color range across many products.
Today at the Totem Lake location, I had an awesome experience easily finding smaller frames that fit me perfectly. The selection was great, the customer service was excellent, and the checkout process was smooth and efficient.
I would love to see Warby Parker adopt VSP into their network so customers can avoid having to submit claims separately. Overall, I’ll definitely be back for more of their awesome multi-frame deals for both my family and myself!
