Comprehensive exams starting at $115
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
The well-known portion of an eye exam where you read from a chart of progressively shrinking letters until they're too small to see
The part of the exam that determines your prescription for corrective lenses (if you need them)
A screening for issues like glaucoma and cataracts, and for signs of other health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and more
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I recently had my eye exam done and initially struggled to find frames that truly fit my face or matched my style. I’m happy to say that Warby Parker has really improved their size selection and expanded their color range across many products.
Today at the Totem Lake location, I had an awesome experience easily finding smaller frames that fit me perfectly. The selection was great, the customer service was excellent, and the checkout process was smooth and efficient.
I would love to see Warby Parker adopt VSP into their network so customers can avoid having to submit claims separately. Overall, I’ll definitely be back for more of their awesome multi-frame deals for both my family and myself!

Store is clean and well-organized. The employees are friendly and helpful in my experience. They often have sales where you get a discount when buying more than one frame and while I'm sure they'd love to sell you more, they aren't pushy about it so the whole shopping experience feels pretty relaxed.

First off, the eye exam was so fast, much more affordable than other places (as someone without vision insurance), and the provider made it comfy and safe! Experience here was great start to finish. The first time I went they were busy, but someone still acknowledged me right when I walked in. The staff were efficient and knowledgeable and explained the process well. I also appreciate being given a realistic time frame on when my glasses would arrive given I chose in store pick up. Upon picking up my glasses I had the exact same, professional and efficient experience as before. I’ve recommended this location to a few of my friends and will be returning for more glasses. I also appreciate that Warby Parker is less expensive and doesn’t have any designer branding. The selection is great and I appreciate that the sizing is clearly labeled with each pair making shopping so much easier.

I have never found a perfect pair of Rx glasses so fast in my life. The sales associate was as hands off or on as I needed any given moment, was very helpful with my lack of fashion sense, and helped me decide on frames/lens color/additional coating/etc. One of the optometrists was also willing to help adjust my current glasses to fit better and I am definitely switching all my checkups and glasses purchases here when I'm ready for my next checkup and glasses. I'm so glad I decided to check the shop out!

My wife and I were using our FSA benefits and we really like Warby Parker for affordable yet stylish eyeglasses. And now they have contacts, so it's even more beneficial for our family.
The staff (especially JC) at the Totem Lake store were professional and helpful, and they made the entire process fun (which I don't often say about shopping for glasses and contacts). Despite the store being crowded, I was able to shop and try on frames without being disturbed. When I was finished, and looked like I had a question, a staff member appeared like a genie! and started the purchase process. My check out person, Kaia was super friendly and answered all my questions knowledgeably and patiently and the genie person who measured my pupilary distance (I'm sorry I don't remember your name!) was equally friendly, knowledgeable and patient. No one tried to up sell me. It was so nice to have a smooth and pleasant brick and mortar experience. Thanks!

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. There was a mixup with my eye exam appointment (online scheduling glitch) which they handled politely and professionally. The doctor was even able to fit me in so I didn't have to come back another day. They have a great selection of frames at very reasonable prices. The overall experience was excellent. 10/10 would recommend.
