Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had a wonderful experience today while at the Warby Parker Eye Care Clinic in Totem Lake, Kirkland. Dr. Chan was fantastic! He has excellent bedside manner and is clearly a true expert in eye care, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything with impressive knowledge & patience. The front staff were equally impressive: approachable, kind, and professional while making the entire process feel smooth and welcoming. They were genuinely helpful without any pushy sales tactics, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I really wish I had known about this location sooner as I’ve had less than stellar experiences at other eye care places in the last few years since needing glasses/contacts. Would have saved me so much headache and dollars wasted!
I would highly recommend this eyecare clinic and Dr. Chan to anyone!

Cannot recommend high enough! A very nice gentleman came out to help me, very bummed I didn’t catch his name but he found frames that were perfect on the first try by just looking at my face- didnt need a sense of style fist!

I recently had my eye exam done and initially struggled to find frames that truly fit my face or matched my style. I’m happy to say that Warby Parker has really improved their size selection and expanded their color range across many products.
Today at the Totem Lake location, I had an awesome experience easily finding smaller frames that fit me perfectly. The selection was great, the customer service was excellent, and the checkout process was smooth and efficient.
I would love to see Warby Parker adopt VSP into their network so customers can avoid having to submit claims separately. Overall, I’ll definitely be back for more of their awesome multi-frame deals for both my family and myself!

Store is clean and well-organized. The employees are friendly and helpful in my experience. They often have sales where you get a discount when buying more than one frame and while I'm sure they'd love to sell you more, they aren't pushy about it so the whole shopping experience feels pretty relaxed.

Had the most amazing experience with Sway & Briana! First off, the eye exam was so fast, much more affordable than other places (as someone without vision insurance), and the provider made it comfy and safe! Now to the stars of the show: Sway & Briana, my two fashion advisors, helped not just recommend frames, but make it feel like I was just asking my friends for advice :’). Experience here was great start to finish. The first time I went they were busy, but someone still acknowledged me right when I walked in. The staff were efficient and knowledgeable and explained the process well. I also appreciate being given a realistic time frame on when my glasses would arrive given I chose in store pick up. Upon picking up my glasses I had the exact same, professional and efficient experience as before. I’ve recommended this location to a few of my friends and will be returning for more glasses. I also appreciate that Warby Parker is less expensive and doesn’t have any designer branding. The selection is great and I appreciate that the sizing is clearly labeled with each pair making shopping so much easier.

I have never found a perfect pair of Rx glasses so fast in my life. The sales associate was as hands off or on as I needed any given moment, was very helpful with my lack of fashion sense, and helped me decide on frames/lens color/additional coating/etc. One of the optometrists was also willing to help adjust my current glasses to fit better and I am definitely switching all my checkups and glasses purchases here when I'm ready for my next checkup and glasses. I'm so glad I decided to check the shop out!

My wife and I were using our FSA benefits and we really like Warby Parker for affordable yet stylish eyeglasses. And now they have contacts, so it's even more beneficial for our family.
The staff (especially JC) at the Totem Lake store were professional and helpful, and they made the entire process fun (which I don't often say about shopping for glasses and contacts). Highly recommend this Warby Parker store. I've also had good experiences at the Bellevue Square and UVillage stores.
