Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Went in for an eye exam and glasses. Dr Chen was great. I was helped by Cienna and Lisa to help me pick out a pair of eye glasses and a pair of sun glasses. Both where funny, polite, and great at their job.

Same day eye exam called in for appointment request at 4 pm was in by 5:15 pm on a Saturday. The prescription was more accurate than last place I went to. Eye examiner had good bedside manner. The exam room has up to date equipment. The Seating was comfortable. The whole process felt very streamlined. Eye exam didn't take long to complete. I Didn't feel rushed.The staff was very friendly. I ended up exiting store feeling very satisfied with the purchase of my exam, glasses, and accessories(eyeglasses case).
I bought a very cool, and unique dual pocket eye glasses pouch. It opens on both ends to hold two pair without scratching each other. Its not bulky like most glass cases. Very Happy. Thank you Warby Parker Southcenter Mall, in Washington.

The overall experience was great! I’ve purchased glasses at a few Washington locations, but this was my first getting an exam through Warby Parker. I really appreciated Dr. Lou. She took time to listen to my recent concerns. The technology for the eye appt was also great. In lieu of getting your eyes dilated, there’s an option to use a machine they just flashes a light quickly. That was the BEST part. I think we all hate getting our eyes dilated. You should be advertising this! :)

Great service. Very thorough. Left with a better perscription than other my last optometrist. Just ensure staff is knowledgeable when placing your order for glasses or lenses, ask questions. I got a 2 pack of contacts when it should have been a 6 pack. They are disposable, makes sense to have something when you run out.

I chose Warby Parky because they are not part of the evil empire of eyeglass retailers and thus cost less, but I find the staff competent, friendly, no-pressure, but helpful with my many questions. The selection and variety is outstanding. For the first time in 50 years of wearing glasses, I get comments every week on how attractive my glasses are. This is my second visit, and again I purchased multiple frames.

Warby parker was a great experience!
I am a long time glasses wearer, and I can say this was the fastest and best service I have ever had. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. I had excellent service from all3 of the employees. They had excellent customer service and a vast knowledge of their products. The Warby parker glasses are the most durable pair of glasses I have ever worn and I have a physical job, that is outdoors and is very hard on glasses I have had mine for 3+years and they are still going strong. I highly recommend this location
