Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

$850 and weeks later I have not received my glasses or any update in re to my glasses or even an order number. When I called they said they simply can't resolve the problem because I can't "verify the order number". When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that wasn't possible because I need to first verify the order number. Um ok.

The staff at this location are so incredibly kind and helpful! My last pair of glasses were purchased online from Warby Parker, and while I love them and they've lasted me years, I am so glad I came into the store today. I learned so much about what to look for when it comes to good fitting glasses, and really liked their wide variety of frames.
It's so cool when people are genuinely passionate about their job; and it was very clear that Feyre really wanted to help me find a pair of glasses that were both comfortable, and made me feel confident. Thanks again :)

Lennox was a great help to me while I looked for just the right style and fit. She gave me her attention even though the store was busy. She searched inventory for a pair that wasn't on display because she understood what I was looking for. My experience was much better than my local eye doc's office for service. WP prices are very reasonable and there are plenty of styles to choose from.

The Hilldale location is much bigger and nicer than the old State Street location, and it's really easy to browse and try things out. Lennox has a real eye for frames that fit your face, 5 stars for the sales experience. I will definitely come back!

Great location, staff were super helpful even though there were only 2 people working the night I went and 3 customers. They were able to take care of me in between working with others, which was very kind and much appreciated. Just too bad the selection of eye wear didn't work for me.

We had a great shopping experience. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Laurel helped us and was AMAZING. She was happy to pull all the frames we had favorited online before we came in. She also brought additional frames that she thought would work well and there were 2 recommendations we liked so much we ended up selecting. We were at the store the 30 minutes before close and she graciously helped us up to close. We have purchased many frames from an online-only realtor over the last several years. It was definetely worth the trip into Warby Parker instead.

This was my first time to this location, as I’ve previously visited the former location on State Street and the location in the Third Ward of Milwaukee. All of the staff at Hilldale were kind and helpful. They genuinely seemed like they wanted to help and assisted me in finding two pairs that fit me well, offered to adjust my previous glasses (that I also purchased from Warby Parker), and took care of the order of both glasses and prescription sunglasses. They walked me through all the options for coatings, etc and the return policy. I tried a blue light coating for the first time and they eased my fears of it changing the perception of color with the 30 day guarantee. Definitely pleased and looking forward to receiving my new glasses in about two weeks via mail!

I had an appointment at 945, I arrived 7 min early and they were not open. I called twice and they did not answer either time. I showed up at 10am, when they opened and they bumped my appointment. This is a poorly run store, I would not suggest you use them for eye exams.

I came into WP to get new frames and update my prescription. I then experienced some of the best customer service I have ever had. They treated me with respect, listened, and were genuine. I was truly blown away.
I then, after an hour, decided to upgrade my lenses and had the best customer service call and experience I have ever had. I was truly blown away again.
Highly recommend this location and will be returning next time I need glasses!

Specifically one very unhelpful staff member. More interested in declining clients versus offering solutions. Came in during a "supposed" busy time and we were very flexible with options offered, but as soon as it came to having them do any sort of work to help, they'd make an excuse as to why that's not a feasible option. Why offer it in the first place? Definitely not the first time I've had an unpleasant experience and will be looking to take my prescription elsewhere.

Great experience! I was greeted right when I walked in the door. Friendly staff all around. Lots of stylish frames to choose from and the staff were super patient with me trying on LOTS of different frame options. Everyone answered my questions honestly and pricing was straightforward.
