Introduction
Dr. Leo Jiang is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in 2023. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Jiang uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

OMG the staff here is amazing! Lennox and Sam are both so knowledgeable and friendly. Our eye exam was thoroughly enjoyable and I felt like they really care. Glasses are awesome and super affordable! I can’t say enough good things about this location!! Ten stars!

I needed glasses with progressive lenses for the first time in my life, and was shocked at how expensive those lenses are. Frames themselves are also often pricey. The glasses I got at Warby Parker are the best price I found in town, AND I'm really happy with the style selection. Plus, their staff is great, especially Laurel. I never felt pressured, but they were available to consult on what fit best or share their opinion on what they liked best. Awesome experience overall - thanks!!

I went there to get two pairs of glasses. When I received them, they were not level. I asked the employee to adjust them, she was super rude and impatient about anything I ask her to do. The employee insisted this was because of my face shape was uneven. But I did not have this problem with my previous glasses. Then she adjusted them many times without success. She even rolled her eyes at us as if this was our problem. After all of this effort the glasses still didn’t sit right on my face.
We left but then we went back after 5 min because I paid so much money for them. I exchanged them with the pair that were on display and they fit better. I don’t know why they could not just adjust the original pair for my face.
I have been wearing the glass for half a year now. And they have been sliding down my nose everyday and still uneven. I have changed back to my previous glasses. I will never purchase from them again.

Heidi and everyone else at the Hilldale Warby Parker are absolutely fantastic individuals. I came in with my mum earlier in the week and after my eye exam, Heidi (along with another person who I can’t remember the name of, I’m sorry!) made us both feel so comfortable and really helped me pick some new frames that make me feel confident and fun — like a 1970s RV saleswoman (but make it fashion). I can’t recommend this location enough for the quality of the product, but the truly wonderful people who make the place so welcoming and who bring the fun to something that some people may find stressful. Heidi was a wealth of knowledge for my mum as well, as she got to know more about progressive lenses and how they’ve changed, which my mum has said she loved learning about. Love!

Lennox and Alyssa were fantastic! They helped me find frames I liked that fit my face, and turned me from a "looker" to a buyer! I was educated on how frames are sized and the difference between regular and low-bridge (never knew that?). The store is clean and easy to shop. I wish there were more "funky" frames, but I did find a pair that was perfect for me. Thanks to these fantastic women for a fun shopping experience!

This was the first time I had been into a Warby Parker store. I had already looked online and did the try-on 5 frames at home thing. I had ordered contacts online and considered ordering glasses, but I wanted to try on more frames in the store and get another opinion about the size/shape on my face. There was pretty much every frame I saw online displayed in the store, and they had more when I asked about a style or color I didn't see sitting out.
The staff were very helpful but not pushy or clingy. I was able to get my questions answered, and the guy kept checking back with me once in awhile as I contemplated different frames. He also gave input when I asked if frames were the right size for my face. He gathered my PD measurements to go with my prescription and placed my order for me. He said it's taking about two weeks to get glasses right now which will ship to me directly. I can also go in for free adjustments as needed once they arrive.
Overall, it was a great experience in the store with helpful staff and an easy ordering process.
