Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had such an awesome customer service experience at Warby Parker Hilldale! Laurel greeted me almost immediately after I walked into the store and took so much time answering my questions and kindly providing feedback as I made her suffer through a glasses frames fashion show! I feel like I tried on half of the frames in the store and she was enthusiastic from beginning to end. She asked me very specific questions pertinent to both function and fashion and I am so excited to get my brand new glasses, as a first time wearer at almost 50 years old. I will recommend Warby Parker to all of my friends mostly because of the amazing service I got today from both Laurel and Lennox, the optician. Thank you!

The staff was so helpful and didnt make me feel rushed. Heidi made my visit so fun and even helped me decide what frame fit me best. There are so many great options it was hard to decide. Run don't walk to the Warby Parker at Hilldale....I love Warby Parker for their quality frames and Eye Exams. This was my first time at the Hilldale location and it was beyond wonderful. The staff are so genuine and helpful choosing a frame and the team in the Optometry are incredible. I was so excited to work with all these amazing women that made this experience something to really remember - and so excited to get my new frames that I couldn't have found w/o the help of the staff.

$850 and weeks later I have not received my glasses or any update in re to my glasses or even an order number. When I called they said they simply can't resolve the problem because I can't "verify the order number". When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that wasn't possible because I need to first verify the order number. Um ok.

The staff at this location are so incredibly kind and helpful! My last pair of glasses were purchased online from Warby Parker, and while I love them and they've lasted me years, I am so glad I came into the store today.
