The staff at the Watertown location of Warby Parker was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I had an eye exam, which was incredibly informative. I then purchased both eyeglasses and regular glasses, and the team made the process fun. I am a return customer to Warby Parker, and I recommend their products.

I witnessed an unpleasant argument today: a white woman at the front desk, calling herself the manager, was loudly arguing with an Asian customer. From what I heard, it seemed the Asian guy was late for a quick 5-minute follow-up appointment. But the manager insisted he must rebook for next week. I heard the guy suggest that she check with the doctor to see whether he should rebook or simply wait there. (Honestly, his proposal is polite and reasonable.) Yet the manager kept refusing, raising her voice, and stressing that “she is the manager and it’s her call.” (I was shocked to hear her even say, “you either leave or rebook.” ) Later, both her colleague and the doctor came out, expressed flexibility, and the guy also said he was fine waiting. Still, the manager was not back down — even saying things like “I refuse to talk with you further.” This whole scene made me feel sick of Warby Parker. I worry that one day this manager’s behavior could be directed at me or my families too (or maybe, she is simply racist, which is even worse). And I truly don’t understand why she would deliberately make things so difficult for everyone. Isn’t her job supposed to be helping coordinate visits? If she had respected the doctor and the customer, this could have been solved with a 5-minute walk-in instead of forcing a 30-minute rebook. That way, more free slots could be available in the future for others, like me. Anyway, feeling shame the “manager” poorly behaved, unprofessional and discriminatory (and a bit racist) in front of many other customers…

We had an appointment but arrived a bit late. The doctor clearly said it would only take one minute and did not require rebooking. However, the front desk refused to listen and insisted we rebook. What made the situation worse was that the front desk argued with my husband in front of all the other customers, which was extremely unprofessional and humiliating. I also felt there was a possibility of racial discrimination in the way we were treated. Very disappointing experience.

Eye doctor Liu is excellent!!

Service was immediate & VERY courteous! Prices are very competitive, selection is vast. I was in and out for prescription glasses in under 20 minutes. Cannot say enough about the cheerful & helpful staff here, even on a busy Saturday

Very nice staff. They helped me pick out frames. The optomotrist was kind and explained everything to me. Would recommend. Although they didn't take my insurance, I ended up paying around $220 out of pocket for glasses and eye exam.

Everyone here was wonderful! I had to come in a few times for a contacts prescription. Each time they were all helpful, applied no pressure, and were just good humans.

This was by far one of the best glasses store experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve been wearing glasses for 23 years. The exam appointment was great and efficient and then the team on the floor helped me find the perfect pair of frames. I am super picky and they were so patient and worked together to help me find the perfect pair. They were all super kind and helpful and professional.

Came in to get my frames adjusted…the store was busy so I left my email/number to get a text back, but never did! Felt totally ignored and won’t be coming back to this location.
