I went in for an annual contact lens exam, which was supposed to be fully covered by my insurance (UHC). However, Warby Parker still billed me, even after I showed them my coverage summary PDF. It turns out the coverage depends on the brand of contacts used during the exam. Only exams involving certain covered brands are fully covered by UHC. I admit I didn’t do enough research on this beforehand, so part of the misunderstanding is on me. That said, I never expressed a preference for any specific brand during the visit. When I expressed confusion about being billed, it felt like they knew exactly why it happened but didn’t take the opportunity to explain how brand choices affect insurance coverage. As a preferred provider listed by UHC, it’s reasonable to assume that Warby Parker has encountered similar situations before and could have better educated me upfront to avoid me being billed. Additionally, I found it very difficult to factor the cost of contacts into my decision about which brand to use. The doctor refused to discuss costs entirely meanwhile, the store associate also avoided advising me on cost considerations. This left me feeling stuck, with no clear way to make a balanced decision between cost and features without upsetting one of them because they were getting impatient when discussing cost consideration.

I was in the store and saw Cris helping a family learn how to wear and place contacts, and I was so impressed. Cris was incredibly patient, walking them through each step with clear instructions and encouragement. She stayed calm and reassuring, even when the family was nervous about trying contacts for the first time. It was clear Cris truly cared about making sure they felt confident before leaving—such a great example of excellent customer service!

This was my first time ever in Warby Parker and the ecperience was perfect! I needed to replace my current glasses with another pair as close to these in appearance as possible and Nicole did a great job helping me find them, as well as a second pair for prescription sunglasses. Prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is friendly and knoweldgeable. I've been wearing glasses since I was 11 and don't see a need to buy elsewhere.

A friend recommended Warby Parker and I'm glad I stopped in. I was greeted by Collin immediately and helped me purchase my glasses. I knew what I wanted and he was able to help. The pair I came in for was not right for my face frame and I'm glad that Collin was able to tell me this and found the perfect frames. I am satisfied with my purchase! This is our go to place for eyewear and eye exam. Lisette and staff have always been welcoming and super helpful. They’re honest and they always give advice on what looks good on you and answers all your questions. Definitely recommend this Warby Parker location. :)
